Well the pike are ON! :thumbsup_anim:

Definitely hit "Happy Hour" today with a fishy "Happy Ending"

Had a wack of follows but only one taker. :dunno:

The follows were mostly in shallower areas.

The follows were big fish too.

But I think the BIG ones are still in water deeper than Neil Pearts lyrics.

She was from the deepest spot.

My scale said she was 19#'s but I think 17-18#'s is more realistic. :dunno:

She swallowed the lure pretty deep. Luckily, my spreaders did the trick and the surgery was quick and minor.

My ear to ear grin says it all.

Get on out there!

Awesome fish.

Since you like to take in-action pictures, maybe you should get one of those head-wearable camera :)

or one of those hidden in the glass frame camera :D (can be used for other things too if you know what i mean)

Nicely done Snag. I've got the itch now. Save some for me :P

Your learning curve has been very brief I must say..

Evil genious.

Solid. Nothing breeds success more than time on the water. Congrats.

Nice fish!

Always wanted to ask this question of you early spring pikers, what's the fight like? I would think they are kinda sluggish in the cold water, but I've never caught them this time of year so have no idea.

I actually thought of "doctoring" my strap-on headlight to hold a camera!

Great report and pics Snag!!! :thumbsup_anim:

I was hoping you hadn't photoshopped anything before I opened the thread... glad to see you didn't!

I do look hung-over Glenda

Sweet fish.

Lookin' to get some time in this weekend. How are the ice conditions around the shore's of T.O.?

reefrunner

Most of the ice is gone on the west-end.

GTA Pike reports from Snag can only mean one thing - spring is here!!!!

If you or Patrick have time during the week, PM me!

You're right.

I actually prefer scrappy pike.

These bigguns are slow but when they throw their weight, it rocks!

thats a solid 8-10 pounder

LOL. Look closely.. A 36in female this time of year would hover between 12 to 15 pounds. That fish there is easily over 36.

You fish largies much?
