  1. We lost a guy here Friday. Be careful Condolences to family and friends
  2. Trails near wawa are open. 101 chapeau to timmins are closed. There is snow but every hundred yards is bare. The lakes are amazing. They are so slick you could play an NHL game on any one. You couldn't walk across without falling down.
  3. Looks like a smelt to me..does it stink? .bummer if it is
  4. So it actually started? Back in the day, we considered Johnson and Evinrude to be fishing motors and mercury to be the speed motor if you wanted a fast boat or to tow skiers.
  5. LOL at all the people that shop at Walmart and claim that they aren't like regular Walmart shoppers :whistling:
  6. Still lots here Yesterday just outside Chapleau It says, Arctic Watershed..from here all rivers flow north to Arctic ocean

  8. Its a Yamaha. Do an oil change, super simple. 3 litres of marine yamaha 10W30 oil and a filter Change the oil in the lower end, again, simple. Put the muffs on and start it. Watch for water squirting out the upper hole and I would bet its fine. If it doesn't start, then take it in
  9. I got stuck bad last year with cablelas and min kota because I didn't read the rules they make. Well they make the rules so they can live with them as well. While I don't really agree with playing the system it will certainly play you if if has a chance so I'm not going to knock somebody for taking advantage. Maybe laugh a bit but they are only following the rules for their own best interest.
  10. And the grocery store sets up every trick they know to get you in there and spend money. They spend millions on marketing and price gimmicks is part of the game. Take it when you can. A penny mistake is like hitting cherries on a slot machine

  16. Museum is right downtown and there is a nice boardwalk along the river there. One of the best walleye spots is in front of the hotel by the mall 15 minute walk up around the locks puts you in steelhead rapids Yeah, you should see the locks too
  17. In Sault Ste Marie, don't miss the Bushplane Museum. One of the things thats truly worth seeing here. What MJL said about the fishing. leave to head north in the morning..as nice as the Rockies are, The trip from Sault to Thunder bay is a close second You don't want to miss it driving at night
  18. I got a Husqvarna a few years ago. I love that mower. Its easier to handle than a self propelled. They have bearings in the wheels that makes it super easy to push. I have about the same size yard as you with a bit of a hill. Its also the only mower I have seen that the bag is tapered the right way. The big end is at the opening so clippings drop out instead of wedging in there
  19. Yellowknife is classified as a "semi arid climate" so it hardly rains there...no worries about noise. If it rains you actually may want to know And Dave, don't skip the membrane between the steel sheets and roof deck...thats a very important item
