dont enter someones sandbox unless you are prepared for the worst...especially when the guy that owns that sandbox will eat you id feel little sympathy for the photographer if the bear caught him. the unfortunate part is the bear would likely be destroyed for being a "savage human killer" when it was just defending its territory.

i guess when you're one of the best chefs in the world, you can act like him. the man knows what he is talking about and the only ones who argue with him are the ones that are too stubborn to admit it. holmes is an ass. people who dont know much about reno's watch this guy and think that all contractors have an unlimited budget and everything should be overkill just like the holy one, mike holmes. sub division homes are pathetic and i wouldnt live in one if i got it for free.

hmmm...thats odd

my stevens 200 (made by savage) 22-250 shoots under 1" groups at 100 yards and its only $300 brand new. as to buying the actual GUNS (bet you cant have just one) id visit any gun shop to find what you like and then order from SIR/cabelas or wholesale sports. even with shipping you will save quite a bit of money most the time. if you arent concerned about saving $$$, support the little guys. for your first shotgun, id get an 870 express super mag combo. comes with a 26" smooth bore and a 20" fully rifled barrel to shoot sabots. mine has been through hell and hasnt let me down yet. it also shoots 2 1/2" groups at 125 yards and can be had for under $600. buy a weaver side mount so you cant use a scope with the slugs to get the guns full potential.

hmmm...i just bought one today and actually compared it to my dads mr buddy heater or whatever its called. the heat coming out the top was nearly the exact same....HOT! lol. sport cat is $30 on sale, buddy heater is on for $80 at bass pro. could buy 2 sport cats and be able to sit in your underwear in the hut plus 3 bottles of propane for the price of 1 buddy heater. im not saying the buddy is not a good heater, but the sport cat isnt much different besides the O2 sensor.

ive done this quite a few times to make sure i get what i want at sale price. find out that something is going on sale by asking employees, friends, flyers, etc and then go buy it 2 weeks before the sale starts. when the sale begins, go in with your receipt and tell them you bought something that is now on sale and you would like to be refunded the difference. as far as i know, stores must do this if you purchased the item within 2 weeks of the sale. just did it again a couple weeks ago at canadian tire. bought a michelin floor jack and stands and ended up getting $65 back after the sale started. imagine that, they were sold out when i went to get some money back id gladly do it for the auger at BPS, but its over an hour away and i dont have the cash right now. anyone wanna buy me an xmas gift?

spot and stalked this doe. shot her at 12 yards with my exomax crossbow. watched her fall about 50 yards from where she was hit. i dont think ill ever find myself sitting in a treestand ever again now that i know how much fun it is stalking my prey not the most preferable shot, but her and the other doe were getting very ancy and started doing the side to side head bob they do trying to figure out what i was. there was zero cover between us so i let her have it. aimed a little high to miss the heavy bone. broadhead was just poking through her opposite side. got both lungs with no gut shot...very lucky for the quartering towards me angle.

i think the coyotes love coons because of all the fat they have. fat = energy. coyotes need lots of it to survive harsh winters, along with most other critters. the problem with letting nature take its course and self regulating populations is once coyotes have moved into an area, their numbers wont start to go down until all the food in an area is gone. then they move out of that bush after they've eaten all the critters and then it happens again. im a member on a couple predator hunting forums and a guy who shoots hundreds every year always uses the saying "after dooms day there will only be 2 animals that survive. coockroaches and coyotes". judging by how smart and resourceful these critters are, id agree they should have their nice thick coats now...good for auction

Question for the hunters, buck or doe to eat?
ch312 replied to Burtess's topic in General Discussion
moose and deer do not roll around in their own urine. they use the scent glands on their hind legs, urine, and bucks or bulls rub trees with their antlers to spread the scent from their glands on their heads. none of these should be touched before dressing or processing an animal. -

it makes no difference at all if you post it online or not as anyone with the intent of attacking your computer can have your IP address in the blink of an eye. hackers are always a step ahead... -

ive been downloading everything from music up to hardcore software for at least 7 years and i have received ONE email from rogers. they actually turned off the internet for 1 week. i ended up getting credit on the account because of that... and the reason they suspended my internet? i downloaded a no-cd patch for a game my buddy gave me. odd how i get a warning from a legal game but not the other ones i downloaded -
