  1. If the said water is south of Hwy 7 it is 'owned' by the Osler family. They run a law firm that takes the top floors of the First Canadian Place. If you decide to push the issue you will be charged and they will win. If that is the area.
  2. According to the above account it sounds like MNR has caught some but does'nt want to panic folks. Most of new reports on map are generally south of former range. We will see eventually i guess.
  3. Initially when Mike caught that i thought atlantic because it was so silvery, quick pic and briefly out of water. after looking at pic later, noticed tail then it had too many spots especially around gill plate. Not a few large spots on gill plate. So thought it was a brown trout when pictured was viewed when enlarged. Mike, i kinda forgot that other boat that was there briefly. Even though he crossed in front twice when we were trolling and then got tangled in our lines. The schools of emerald shiners were cool we thought there was new huge weedbeds there but it was millions of minnows.
  4. Went out and tried L. Ontario this afternoon with the north winds and sun making it seem pleasant. Tried trolling and casting the usual lures without much luck. The water was real clear making the bite tough. A few small trout were caught but nothing signifcant. The only other boat out there was board member Mikeh, whom we didn't expect to meet. We chatted a bit then went fishing in different directions. Ran into Mike again later and he caught this nice fish At the time it was suggested it was a brown trout but i thought it was an Atlantic due to its super silveryness and many of the black flecks resembled x-shapes. Now i think it is a brown though, after looking at the picture Real nice fat fish anyways, congrats Mike.
  5. Would have to agree with others on the north end of Pigeon as being best choice. Like others suggested try jointed Believers, Depth Raiders, Grandmas, Jakes, etc... Perch pattern or green/ chartreuse has been best. The last few larger musky i've caught were in open water just off mid- lake humps. Hope this helps, ehg
  6. Nice fish pumpkin! Hope your child has a great time tonite. My kid like this day second to Christmas.

  12. That fish is a 'white perch' GBayGiant. Notice it has a perch like face and no stripes. The white bass has a different mouth and striping like this one.
  13. Nice job on tying those jigs Tibbs! Kemper i received a PM a couple of years ago from some guy Nater who made steelie jigs, maybe look him up if you need jigs!

  16. What a great effort just writing this report You live in an area with many fishing oppurtunities, within a few minutes to an hours drive. Keep up your passion for the sport, it is a great way to spend free time. Buy a portable depth finder and a slightly bigger boat/ trailer fror cheap and you will do even better. Thanks for sharing this story Cheers, ehg

  21. Wasn't a feature of this post but nice smallmouth on Dollarama spinner, Grant. Is that another T.O waterfront smallie?
  22. Looks like a Great White Egret, thanks for link anders nice pictures there. Read a little today that they are expanding there range north and eastward. Like the cardinal did 100 yrs. ago and Turkey Vulture 25 yrs. ago.
  23. Went down to Humber River yesterday to see what was jumping at Old Mill. There was nothing jumping for brief moment i was there. As i walked to vehicle to leave, i stopped to watch seagulls peck the eyes out of rotting salmon. While i stood there, out of my peripheral i could see something silently walking towards me. Grabbed my camera and took this pic. Never seen one of these before.
