  1. Udunno, OI. If your white shirt came out of the laundry looking like that would you think it's OK??
  2. might be good on the barbie, Fisherman!!
  3. I used Flickr for some purposes but have not tried that particular feature. It seems to be a generally good site.
  4. So mine is not a Beno---it floats.
  5. I understand that Benos are sinkers. All those posted are floaters Somehow my pic got cropped at the bottom. Let's see if this works.
  6. IMO, the CDN Wiggler is quite a different type of lure. It sinks where the Flatfish floats, so it's quite a deep diver and easier to cast. I troll FF over shallow areas where it might be stop and go. With a floater I don't have to worry about snags while stopped.
  7. Thx for the info. guys. I haven't tried there yet so I don't know how different their action is compared to Flatfish. I have had good luck lately with lakers and splake on Flatfish.
  8. I just inherited these old lures. They look like an older version of Flatfish. Anybody see these before?
  9. Yep---double double for most of the spring, now into summer!!
  10. There's everyhing in that river, incl sturgeon(illegal to target)---bass, and the odd walleye!
  11. We moved from the GTA to Wasaga when we retired. Couldn't be happier with our location. The 'country' is easily accessible e.g. going to my favorite fishing spot i.e. 'up North'. Yet we have the all the services of a fair sized town. For us it's the right balance. I understand that prices have jumped here in the last few years, but I don't really know because 'we ain't movin'.
  12. You're going to need a bigger bucket to hold that bucket list!!
  13. That second last pic looks like the inlet from Diamond. Anything in that outflow?
  14. I have only been able to find the cheap knock-offs in my $rama.
  15. My best luck on a recent trip to Algon was on Flatfish, followed by Mepps. Had a couple hit the worm right off the campsite.
  16. Always a blast when a kid hooks a fish!! My granddaughter did a little 'happy dance' when she caught a mini bass last year!!
  17. Forget the list. My dream would be to go to the Sutton with Mike the Borgerman!!
  18. A couple of comments- When I went solo using a motor I added extensions to the lead so I could put the battery up front for ballast. Don't use rocks for ballast. Use a big jug/pail completely full of water to avoid sloshing. Water, unlike rocks, are neutral buoyancy and won't sink your boat in a mishap. A big block of wood might be even better.
  19. Yeah, I know. You are a master netman as well as a master baiter!! (Too early for cheap shots??) The biggest one I saw was the 1 my dad told me about!
  20. I've caught 12 lbs of walleye but it took me 3 fish to do it!! Quit your bragging already!!
