  1. My first marriage lasted nearly 20 years but it felt a lot longer with the wind chill factor!!
  2. You mean as in "I showed him everything I know and he still don't know nuttin'" ??
  3. So if you had said "I got a boat for my wife" I'd say "Good deal"??
  4. Are you guys talking about reg lead or tungsten jigs used for walleye etc, or something special for bass. Also, what's a typical trailer? thx
  5. Great fish, Brian. Maybe he can give you a few tips!!
  6. Hmmm--I can see why you traded HER in!!?
  7. Made by "Skin so Itchy"
  8. We'll take that as GOOD news, Brian!!??
  9. I have a jacket that is mostly fabric that I hardly ever wear. Too warm for most times. Just took my mesh hat to Algon--OK, but my neck and shoulders suffered badly. There are other jackets that are all mesh. I would recommend 1 of those. May buy 1 myself if we go back in the spring. When camping, standing the the smoke from the fire will give your clothes a good bug repelling aroma. also, they are attracted to carbon dioxide, so it's OK to inhale in but try not to exhale.?
  10. Sorry--not gonna work for me---drat!
  11. I'm working on it---will let you know.
  12. Cheaper than Howard's on Stinger? Is that why you didn't go back there?? BTW---How's your friend, the Borgerman?
  13. So when are we coming over for burgers??
  14. That's a bummer.
  15. Nice catch....and the fish look pretty good too!!
  16. I don't know why you called that a "Darwin", Brian. Sounds more like a "Simpson" to me!?
  17. We have a glass top and clean it often with Weiman but it takes quite a bit of elbow grease. I guess ours must have quite a few small scratches--that's why it's harder to clean. I have had natural gas and I like it. If it were just up to me we'd have a gas stove. Re costs--if it rises due to the carbon tax you will quite likely get that refunded on your income tax(something that conveniently left out of the political statemnets that we hear.)
  18. I'm not sure who changed what slogan and when. Does it matter? 2 wrongs make a right? Why waste effort on such a trivial issue??
  19. Totally unnecessary expenditure Does he think that industries will locate here because of that slogan??
  20. I don't think your guy needs to sweat his decision too much. It is more unrealistic than ever to expect to choose an occupation and work at it until retirement. If he does need to switch to a different type of vehicle or equipment in a few years time, his skills and his work habit will prob serve as a foundation to whatever he chooses next.
  21. Not when you consider the alternative?
  22. Looks like your proverbial '2 months of bad sleddin'" is a bit into the future up there!!
  23. and no spring would be complete without....................
