In the past 2 years I got written permissions to 12 ponds and 20 so hunting properties, by just asking the property owner. All they asked in return was not to drive through there crops and only leave foot prints behind. The thing that put the icing on the cake is to write up a document, giveing you permission for a period of time (I do it a year at a time), stating that if you cause damage, you are fully responsible $$$, and the most important the owner is not liable for anything that happens to you, EVEN death. This also works great for my hunting properties. Daniel

I don't fish Bronte so I can't help. But, welcome to the greatest mad house.

I like the longer rods. I use a 7'6" non tele rod for pitching and flippin, I flip very good distances. I do have a variety of 6'6", but I like the castability of a longer rod, I don't use anything under 7'. So to answer the question, go for another 7'. Hope this helps, Daniel

I bought a tracker super guide v16 deluxe side console with all extras at Boat Land Canada for $$$. I went to BPS and it would have cost me $5000 more than what I paid.

The same fish different name. They will be in lake eire, lake ontario soon, according to a biologist I know. They are also looking at a way to eradicate them.

My car got broken into at Petro Park, about 6-7years ago, they took everything plus my emergency ciggs. The insurance paid for everything. My Ford Escort was stripped when I go back, all that was left was a coat hanger in the window. Sorry to hear what happened, and yes it really sucks Daniel -
Great report Lorne, I can see Southern style carp is working for you. WTG!!

I use the clips mainly for spinners and crack baits. There are different rating, 15-??Lb, they are strong and the different sizes give different actions to the lure. For crank baits the small clip is a tight wobble action, and as you go up in size the more aggressive it is. These are the ones I use: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...010000_100-10-5 These work well also: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&hasJS=true http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...t20293&rid=

First Time Salmon Fishing Rod/Reel Combo
bassjnkie replied to ozaibak1's topic in General Discussion
I use a 9'6" rod, for the reel spend a tad extra and get into a Daiwa Trierra 3000 or 3500, I love that reel -
That all sound good, except for the YUM dingers and tubes. In my opinion the BPS stick o last 10 time longer than the dinger and tubes. But it's personal preference. 2 packs of Gamakatsu EWG #4 worm hooks - 4/0 size Rapala Skitter Pop - Frog Pattern BPS Magnum Flipping Tubes-Green Pumpkin Pepper - not bad Bite Me Tube Heads 3/16 oz - Good Rapala Tail Dancer Model TD09 - Can't go wrong Rapala Origional Floating Minnow F13 - Can't go wrong Rapala X-Rap Extreme Action Slashbait XR 10 - love this bait, my go to Strike King Coffee Tube Softbaits-Natural Goby - Yes & Strike King Double Take Buzzbait 1/4oz-Black - Got it, awesome Great choices, great products.

Any further results with the gulp alive?
bassjnkie replied to MCTFisher9120's topic in General Discussion
A good all around bait, but will never be my go to. I tried the minnow with good success, the 5" jerk baits have a nice action in the water pike and bass really like them, leeches I use with a float, so I panfish mainly take it, can't remember the other jug I bought. I just like that you can recharge them. Do you remeber that video that Mercer had on his site, he took a jig head and sprayed it with alive. I did the same thing at my bass pond, caught 3 bass right off the bat. Anyways, the bait is good. Daniel -
Friends Hydrostream carnage after a 73 mph pass

CRAP!!!!! Thank god hes ok, thats the main thing. WOW!!!!!!!!!! -
It is criminal 100%, I just reccomend it, I do it to sleep better at night, and when I go out I am 100% confident I will make it to the lake and back. Damn I even change bearing every year, Check the wireing, check lug nuts, check tire pressure in all 3 tires, clean and apply di-eletric on my wireing adaptor after each trip, change the oil 3 times a season, ect...... I just reccomend it. I bet Canadian Coppers partner wished he check the bolts. No offence in any way. Sorry about the bad day, by the way all that damage is fixable. Cheers Daniel

When I picked up my boat, I drove it home, got underneath an found 3 loose nuts. I recommend checking a trailer even if it's brand new.

Found this tucked under my wiper this morning.

I didn't read everyones post, sorry if this was said. There is no By-Law number on that ticket, so it's not legit. Dumb land owner or prank in my opinion. And no you were probably not trespassing anyways.
