  1. I am not a Shimano guy and never will, but I have to say the E is a ugly looking reel compared to the others, BUT, on the other hand the specs and construction are very impressive. Price is great too. A different color would probably be a nice touch, all GO no SHOW. Just my 2c, sorry Shimano guys. Daniel
  2. Thanks guys.
  3. My fav spot, quiet, all alone, and lots of fish 56.462490, -46.230469 Have fun, LOL
  4. I am not in any way a rainbow guy. Is there a way without cutting them open, to tell the difference from a river/lake bow VS. a farm bow. Would love to hear some expert opinions. I can't tell Daniel
  5. I collect alot of the vintage fishing gear. I can definatley say your stuff is in great shape, hold on to it as good vintage gear tend to go up in value real quick. Daniel OCH
  6. Been 4 years now, no rips, holes, of rub up tears of any kind. Just to clarify, this is a thick, custom, industrial material, not the c r a p that they sell at BPS or CTC. If you can afford custom, than this is what you are looking for. The material is custom fit, you leave the boat there for a few days. Every inch of the cover fits like a glove. I spent the money to protect my $22,000 investment. Oh Ya ask Robert what colour fades less, I got green and hasn't faded at all. Few pics of the cover,
  7. Roughly $1100, Cover, removable piping over the windshield for protection and rubbing of cover and less sagging, heavy duty, and I mean heavy duty material, bungies, rope going through the cover to tighten it and motor cover with same material and bungie going through materal to lock on the motor. This was what made me happy, every corner the touches the boats metal eg. gas cap, all corners, they reinforced with double material. Daniel
  8. http://www.coversbyrobert.com/ this is where I got mine done.
  9. My family always had fords, Taurus, escorts, windstars, contour, mystique so on, and never had any major problems. Darn, I sold my 1992 escort with 350,000km all original, and the new owner still has it. Treat them nice and they will be nice to you. Just my 2c Daniel
  10. JB's fishing depot has a great selection of senko's, here's the # 416-614-7222
  11. 30-40 rods and reels. Some are for the boat, some for shore rods, few for carp fishing, but there are quite a few collector rods and reels.

  16. Ok. I carry 11 rods with me 7 baitcasters and 4 spinning. If I can only carry 4, then, 1 - Baitcaster - 7' Medheavy weightless or weighted senko, fat tube, chuky soft jerkbait, even buzzers and spinnerbaits. 30lb pp 2 - Baitcaster - 7'6" xtra heavy non telescopic(it's lighter) for a spro frog or pig 'n jig 50lb pp You mentioned 2 spinning. so, 1 - spinning - 7' med fast, small light plastics, crankbaits, spinners 10lb suffix G2 2 - spinning - 7' med, jigs, twistertails, light all around tackle, 12lb suffix G2 Personally change a spinning outfit to another baitcaster 50lb pp for spinnerbaits with a 7' med-heavy. Hope this helps Daniel
  17. Thank you for clearing that up for me.
  18. Stupid question, but doesn't BC have school all year round. Sorry, I might be a mistaken. Daniel
  19. Lebaron and basspro sells it for $55, $24 cheaper. CTC is a rip.
  20. Only carp total new gear: $500 - $1000 depending tackle: $600 - $700 for sure fishing trips: Free guiding: no need gas: I really don`t want to know, 5 days a week of fishing fuel time off work: don`t work other species, hell if I know, probably too much. Daniel
  21. That is not the maize growing. When they process the maize other seeds get in and that is what you have growing in your bucket. The maize looks great just cover with water or use it. The more it smell like alcohol the better. One thing you should know though, sugar accelerates the fementation process, so try not to over do it. For the bucket you have there all you need is a cap full of scent or 2 table spoons of sugar. Get out there!!! Daniel
  22. I use wacky rig, but I don't hook the actual senko, I use these. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...011000_100-11-5 the senko lasts for ever. Daniel
  23. I will be a peir 8 doing an all nighter from Fri. night to sat. Daniel
  24. I'm a Daiwa guy. Shimano's are great reels, I had the 201 and it never failed me and it's backed by a great warrenty. Personnaly I use the (just some other options) Daiwa viento, sol, tierra(great all around reel $109 at BPS), and my new fav the TD Advantage. For the rod a 7' will do you well, med or med heavy. My question is, will you be using spinnerbaits, senkos, jigs etc...? What you use will make or break you rod choice. This is just a few I use, just for an example. If anyone disagrees please correct me. 7' medheavy for spinnerbaits, buzz baits 7'6" Heavy for pig & jigs and also frogs 7' medheavy, fast for senkos, tubes etc.. 6'6" med lite for hard baits Hope this helps, Daniel
