Dream for most, reality for people that know some really stocked lakes
-
I can only say for Fall I stick to deeper whated, crankbaits, slower presentations and so on. For you second question 4Lb is really not that big for Ontario wich has 5% of the worlds total water. 4lb might be big for Simcoe, but 6lb is average for other back lakes, and for other lakes 3lbs are huge. I am sure I will be corrected on all this. Daniel

For the oil I use Quantum hot sause or reel butter oil, both can be purchased at Bass Pro, Oh remember a little goes a long way. For grease and depending on the reel and what time of the year I am using it, I use, as mentioned, lithium grease, but 6 times out of ten any type of silicone grese works really well. I think the Abu Garcia grease is silicone based. What ever you do Do not buy Quantum grease, it sucks. Hope this helps Daniel

I oil and grease my reels 2-3 times a season. In winter I take each reels apart, piece be piece, clean them really good, oil and grease them, and store them for the next season. Daniel

I don't buy from small shops as much as I use to. I buy from Bass pro and Cabelas, once in a while LeBaron. I mainly purchase online every day or every second day, the online sotres prices can't be beat, even with shipping. For my carp items it's all online mainly ebay.co.uk or Specialist tackle. Hope this helps, Daniel

As mention Shooters choice or Wolf den. I have a Hoyt and will be getting a Bowtech soon. Hoyt are great bows, light and fast. I bought the bow at Wolfs den, BUT the accessories at Shooters choice, they have a huge selection, and carry my fav. lightspeed arrows. I reccomend Hoyt or Bowtech Daniel

Are you going to boycott or set it on fire. Fires more noticable. Just kidding . I drive a V6, $70 a fill up, I just live with it. 5 people chanting a an Esso will not make a difference in the gas prices. By all mean do what you want, I believe in you. But government won't even notice. If everyone in Canada where to pickett, then I say I'm in, the thing is to get the message accross it has to be huge.

Aikems is not a store they do warranty work for most companies. If you are still stuck send it yourself, buy a tube, tape it up and send it. Pay the shipping there and back. Done, you will have it by Chrismas. Daniel

Sorry it's my mistake, I was thinking of a different tire. 50psi is correct it's B. Sorry for the confusion. I messed up. Sorry continue with the post. Daniel
-
50 psi? My tire is 30psi max. My car tire is 30psi. I think the tire is ove inflated. But anyways back to the post. I bought a spare tire last year and yes it looked bigger, as long as the numbers match your golden. Hope this helps, Daniel

I am getting a list ready for some spending. I have a 16'6" deep V boat. For May I want it decked out for walleye. I do have some stuff I use for Muskie. BUT I want to change everything. From rod holders to rods and reels, dipsy or planer borads. You know what how about we get a list going and pretend I have nothing. Any suggestions welcome Daniel

Look, look, look. Don't get all jumpy with me, I am only saying what I hear. Are you really comparing an enry level rear drag reel with a monster 10000 salt series reel, dude it's apples and oranges. For 30lb carp I use a Tica Abyss 9007 saltwater spinning reel that will make that symetre smoke. Saltwater reel are built like tanks, HUGE drag discs. I think I mistaken on your intetions for using a 4000. I am talking trophy Musky. For that reason I am saying it's not a good idea to use that reel. By the way the torque you get with a C4, is alot more than a rear drag spinning. If you are using the 4000 for trophies. I am done with this dicussion.
-
Well, I hear alot of musky guys on the forum. The modo seems to be bring them in fast, picture and quick release. As musky are delicate. If I am wrong correct me. With spinning reels, even a 4000, isn't there a large margin of un-nessasary play, which could harm or kill a big musky. BTW this is all quoted by Musky anglers and pros. I don't mind being corrected, and I not trying to be an @$#. It's just a discussion. Daniel

They don't do all that testing. And you don't have to do all that work. Angling specialties or Aikemens sporting goods will send it for you and you get an equal replacment. Just a heads up, the rod won't be returned quickly. aikmans sports linklink http://www.profilecanada.com/companydetail..._Mississauga_ON Angling specialties link http://canada411.yellowpages.ca/bus/Ontari...l?adid=00562850 Hope this helps. What are you doing, trolling, casting, etc... Normally I wouldn't use spinning tackle for musky, rods are too light, reel has bad line capacity. I use a Abu C4 and a Daiwa heatland, well I think its heartland. Unless you are tageting smaller musky.

OK this is weird. Did you pee off Okuma on my behalf. I went to get the mail and find that blue tag with a key on it for 2B, I open it up and there is a box with Okuma as the sender, open it up and it's my Avenger baitrunner all fixed like new. What the hell. There was a Customs note on it and apperentley they held the package for some damn reson. Sorry to hi jack the thread , this is weird. LOL

Any Fishing spots in Barrie or Innisfil Ontario.

I am not sure about that particular marina. But most of them won't let you fish. Something about liability. -
Watermelon, smoke with purple flake. Those are my go to. Match the bottom.
