  1. Be safe and have fun. Bring a BBQ with ya, there will be less moose and deer to carry out, Damn that's the hard part.
  2. Remember it well Gerrit, I actually smile every time I see a post of yours. Knowing of what you been through, I see your courage and strength to go on, every time I see your name. God bless you and yours, it has touched many hearts, many even that you may never know. I believe I have even been a better father since then.
  3. Taken 2 weeks ago on our way to Manitoulin Island, the view was awesome as the fall colors were in full bloom. The area is called Rainbow Country because of the multi colored rocks, but can be because of the trees this time of year.
  4. The sun does some amazing things to clouds and you captured one of those times. Awesome looking clouds.
  5. Was at Lynn Creek, loved the area. Great shots of such a beautiful area. Hopefully I'll get back there some day.
  6. I miss the BC forest, there just like the rain forest, moss grows on everything and for the most part, it's green all year long. Great captures you got Brandon, looking forward to more.
  7. Great shots Dan, was thinking of you when the race was on, for a while, it looked like it was gonna get rained out. Was an interesting race, wish they would of had the green/white/checkered though. I think I recognize the guy in pic 8/9, but can't think of his name right now. LOL Great close ups.
  8. Great pic Brandon, clear skies in Vancouver, now that doesn't happen often. LOL
  9. Tell you the truth, I wouldn't bother. VCR looks like crap compared to DVD and you won't have surround sound. When watching them in the future on newer TV's, thekids will be laughing. LOL. You can buy most movies (DVD"S) for under 10 bucks, usually even cheaper than that. The cost of the machine and then blank dvd's plus all the time copying really isn't worth it. Besides soon you'll be wanting High definition DVD's and the old DVD's will be crap. Better to just keep a VCR for when you want to watch old tapes. My 2 cents, and that's Canadian/American now.
  10. My Condolences to you and your family.

phat bassturd: looks great, actually almost the same as mine, on my desk top, I guess it lost a little resolution when I made the pic smaller for the net. I usually just use my emailer to shrink my pics, don't want to give away the high resolution ones. LOL
  12. GPSMap 76 is an older unit, the newer units 76CSX have newer chips (SiRFstar III™) that works very well.
  13. Love the clear water, and the low placement of the camera for the pictures. Great shots as always Brandon.

Really like the colors in this one, not so much red or yellows, but all different shades of green. Taken behind Capreol. I call it Reflections
  15. "3 of the 5 x 30 lb'rs walking in front of the dining room window a couple minutes ago" Ok, where the other 2. Somebody check his freezer. LOL That's awesome, and right outside your door.

  23. Yeppers Brandon, the water was verry shallow and the trees are blocking most of the sun's glare also, so made for a great day to grab some pics. It was amazing watching them swim up river, especially in the real shallow parts. Got a couple cool videos too.
  24. Went out to Bridal Veil Falls on Manitoulin island, fish are all over the river. Great sight to see, and great photo ops. Here's a few pics I got. There is no fishing aloud in the stream. You can see a bunch of Salmon/trout at the pool at the bottom of the falls.
  25. That looks like an awesome set up, that underwater casing would open up a whole new world for me. Looking forward to seeing the results, especially some underwater pics.
