Well we finally got to see the race, minus my sister and brother in law. I'll post more tomorrow.
-
Well that really sucks, my sister and brother in law have to be back in Toronto Monday for there flight back to Vancouver. I'm now sitting in Strathroy (just outside of London). We rented a motel for the night. We were gonna try to make the race tomorrow, but it looks like it'll be rained out. My brother in law just can't wait incase it gets nicer. I was gonna bring them all the way to Toronto and head back myself, but it looks like it will be rained out again. My last option is to go back home after I dropped them in TO and pick up my son, then shoot back for tuesdays race. Will decide after I get home tomorrow and see the latest weather report. I'll still have my brother in law and sister's tickets along with pit passes. I'm hoping it keeps raining and they postpone it to be the last race of the year,as long as they honor our tickets. That would give me enough time to work things out. We did get to walk on the track and in the pits today, and to hear the jet dryers go by, andsome good souvenirs. Dale Jr stuff is 50% off, the T's and hats are like 10 bucks. It feels like a great planned fishing trip that you end up getting skunked, it was great to just be there, but your missing the whole reason of being there.

Leaving tomorrow and picking up my sister and brother in law in Toronto, and then will be taking our time to be there for Sundays race. My sister and brother in law are flying in from Vancouver. We don't usually get to see them to often, but this will be the third time this year. Gonna have a blast, hope everyone else has a great weekend. Will post some pics when I get back or maybe sooner as most hotels have internet these days.

I have the RCA home theatre 700 watts total, 200watt sub and 100watts to each other speaker. Love it, had it for years now. It comes all together in a box. I'm not crazy about Panasonic's sound, I find they sound a little empty, not a full sound like the RCA. That's just my opinion.

I've been using a polarizer also, but made the mistake of leaving it on while taking pics of our trek. It's to dark in the woods and the pics will be blurred, but love the pics when out in the open. Here's a pic of Mount Baker from the B.C. ferry

Anybody In The Market For A Good Digital Camera?
Deano replied to Photoz's topic in General Discussion
Have that camera also, but I didn't pay that low price. I would jump on that price knowing what I know now. Great camera. -
Although I think it is a tradgedy, I think we just have to learn that bad things happen time to time. Maybe a life jacket wwould of saved him, but a five point harness, a neck harness, a helmit and a firesuit would save a majority of lifes in accidents on our highways, should we make those mandatory. I think it is more important to keep our rights and freedoms, and our choice to do what we want is more important. Enough with more laws, just let people be accountable for there own actions.

Now that gives me a reason to go to vegas. Must of been an awesome ride.

What a beautiful Park. Was there in March as well as many other great spots around B.C. Here's a few pics also. The suspension bridge And walking through the tree's I would also recommend going towards whistler and seeing Shannon Falls and the Stewamus Chief in Squamish. Another trip go east and see the Bridal Veil Falls and Harrison Springs. All great places with beautiful photo ops.

My quest will continue at Fairbank Provincial Park
Deano replied to 007's topic in General Discussion
Have fished out there before, and heard the locals don't want walleye there because they like lakers and walleye just attracts to many fisherman. There is a wall (mountain) across from the park that goes straight down another 20- 30 feet into the water, lots of bass down there with some bigger one on the bottom. Took a mask and snorkel and swam with the bass one year. Was awesome, the water is so clear. -
Like Dutch's post says "The parasite is incapable of infecting humans and, as is the case with all fish parasites, it is destroyed by thorough cooking." You'll notice more black spots usually in warmer waters, around the last month of summer. We usually keep bass for eating earlier in the year, not so much black spots then. But we have eaten many bass with them and there are no worries, just the appearance.

I'd also try a 7lb ball, it'll still get you down and the less weight is easier on the riggers.

Yep no walleye in fairbanks, just lakers and bass. You could go down Chicago mine rd to Ministic or Mosquito Lake, there are walleye in those. -
My condolences to you and your family. God Bless

6 0'clock MCTV news just had another story, a big black cat was spotted in North Bay. Seems to be more and more sightings. Big black cat, bigger than a dog with a curved tale.
-
I found out a bit of what I was talking about. It was in Powassan and "Ingwersen said if the reports are accurate, the black panthers would most likely have been pets released into the wild." Black Panther sightings
-
I saw something on the news the other night about a black panther (cougar). Someone reported seeing one, I think they figured it was a pet that someone let loose or something. I'll try to find the story, just caught part of it on the news and didn't get any details.

Been doing great at 80 feet down in 100 to 150 feet of water. My best luck has been at 3 to 4 kph. Frazer bay, Lake Huron

Yeppers, if the line's humming, your going the right speed. When you start to here the humming sound when downrigging, that's when you know your at the right speed. If it's humming really loud, slow down a bit.

Great pics, I also love taking pics, got lots of them in the last year. I like waterfall pics also.

That is awesome, doing something that he enjoys and getting paid for it, life doesn't get much better than that.

Well, I think JR will be able to really shine next year, get all this Bull behind him and get on a winning team. Sponsors are just like employers, the're great when you have good times, but would let you go in a heartbeat when times are tough, so I'm glad he's doing what he really wants and now will be able to show why he's #1 with the fans. I also been hearing that it won't be NEXTEL cup anymore. Times are always a changing. Gonna go watch JR race next month in Michigan, will be getting lots of pics as they'll be memoribilia soon. Got pit passes too.

To keep it fishing related. Let's just say Micheal Moore is a fisherman, and all who believe him are caught fish.

Congrats, He's a keeper. Fatherhood is awesome, at least sandwich's don't fit in the DVD player. Not that I know any kids who put a sandwich's in a VCR. LOL

My prayers go out to you. That's why I always say ENJOY, because it can all be taken away in a heartbeat.
