  1. Great shots Brandon, it's nice in BC as the trees are so big they block a lot of light making those waterfall pics easier to get sometimes, but sucks as you need a tripod for most pics under the trees. Do you remember how slow your shutterspeed was for that first shot?
  2. Those are some amazing shots FO3. I haven't really attempted any sunset HDR's, but by the looks of yours, I think I'll give it a try.

    HDR extreme

Playing around with HDR and taking it a little further. I like the way these look, although they are losing the original look. These are going to the extreme, but the more I play with HDR, the more I want to see what it can do. Hope you enjoy.
  4. That explains why I already had these pics. LOL
  5. Well now, I think you've got it. They look great especially 1 and 3. Some great color still out your way, mostly bare trees out here now, thank god for evergreens.
  6. Not so bad after all, they should stop predicting the future. Here's a link stating the season was so far the lowest since 1977 compared to the predictions that storms will increase. "Unless a dramatic and historical flurry of activity occurs in the next 9 weeks, 2007 will rank as a historically inactive Tropical Cyclone year for the Northern Hemisphere as a whole." COAPS

    Yamaha 400 4X4

Here's another pic I got this past May. Were at one of the highest points in Northern Ontario. My son took the pic.
  8. I wouldn't mind, but they'll probably ask you for a copy so they could print it. LOL . That looks fast. Great shot.
  9. 2 excellent shots, love animal shots, they can be hard to get though. Here's one of my best from this past summer.
  10. Here's a pic of my quad in HDR. Was out hunting and taking pics on the weekend. Got 1 grouse and over 100 pics. LOL
  11. Awesome pics, an awesome Bass and for what it's worth, I too see the faces.
  12. Add water if your won't be eating the fish for over a month, if you plan on eating it soon, just freeze them. Adding water will stop freezer burn.
  13. Yeah it does look good B&W, but it looks I think it looks a lot better in HDR. In my opinion.
  14. Here's what I got today, I picked up my stepdaughter today in Capreol, she's been coming home for Sunday suppers, and took this picture down the road from where I picked her up. It's an old steam train that's displayed there. Built in 1944 by M.L. Company. Weighs 320 tons, 15 feet high and 93 feet long. It looks good in HDR.
  15. Great pics as always Brandon, that 3rd one is awesome. I love getting waterfall pics and your pics show why, they can really be great pics.
  16. dsn- The problem is not with the DVD's/ CD's, your problem was the way you went about it. You should of saved the project (the editing process of the video you were making). You burned the end product on DVD and then when you redid it, you redid the end product and not the editing process. If you saved the edited process, you would of just had to open it up again and make any changes and then burn the new end process. It would have to be on a new DVD mind you as once a DVD is burned, it cannot be reburnt, unless it is a DVDRW (re-writable). Hope that was clear enough to understand.
  17. Looks like a great way to spend the winter, I can only wish to get away like that. Wouldn't miss the cold or snow at all. Cool picture of the roadrunner. As for Insurance companies, there like the government, got have there money right away, but when it's time for them to pay, they take there sweet time.
  18. Excellent B2K, the old tractor helps give it that old picture type, but the clarity is beyond a camera of that era. I think that's what makes Black and White pictures so awesome.
  19. That;s a great one. Even with tripod, the pics are sometimes crooked, so software makes it a lot easier to straighten out pics. You can also cut out unwanted objects, like when my dogs get the heads or tails in my pics. LOL
  20. Fish Whisperer Advertising manager by day.... Fish Whisperer in my spare time.... I called mine Simplicity, for two reasons, I use to pull it with my 4X4 named Simply Red, the other was because it was nothing too fancy, yet it served a purpose well. Like to keep things Simple.
  21. Great pics as always Brandon. The orange leaves on the ground add so much color to a pic. Nice boardwalk there, and the sound of running water is always an opportunity for a photo OP.
  22. Great report Spiel, looks like eneryone had a great day. They learned a lot more than they would of in school. Life experience, one they'll never forget.
  23. Here's two more.
  24. LOL They look good though, so you don't have to stop. As far as loosing a bit of zaz, it's OK, I lose a bit also, but it keeps the pics original safe, instead of stolen. LOL Here's another one I have
  25. Awesome pic Wayne, that's definitely a pic that looks great in B&W.
