Haven't bought any fish finders or GPS units Paul, but have had a bad experience with a refurb digital camera. I wonder why they were refurb'ed in the first place? Having said that, any refurb stuff I have looked at appears to carry the original manufacturers warranty. The only prob is that generally the store will not warranty the unit and you are on your own to return it if any problems arise. Hope it helps. John..

They call them Crackberries Roy. I travel a lot and see all of these "Lemmings" in airports thumbs going a mile a minute.......I have a basic cell phone that I travel with. I pick up my e-mails 2-3 times a day and figure that if it's important enough, someone will call me. If you don't mind me prying, what the *$%@ do you want it for.......... ?

Gerritt, I didn't have the privilege of knowing you or your family at the time of your tragic loss, however, I have come to know you in recent years not only through this board but through OFC meet and greets either on the ice or at Lakair. I have a young grandson who has just turned 7 and is doing all of the 7 year old stuff including rep hockey. I can not imagine my life without him. It must be terribly difficult with the anniversary of his passing tomorrow. If there is anything that we can do to make things a little more bearable...........well, you know. Losses of loved ones makes one realize how fragile we really are and how short our brief time on this earth really is. Love the ones you are with.......................
