  1. There's been a ton of them around here this year.
  2. Great shots.
  3. Season isn't open until Saturday the 9th. Rennie is in the Whiteshell area ( about an hour east of Winnipeg) lots of lakes to try. Oakbank is just north of Winnipeg. Only real fishing opportunity close by would be the Red River or Lake Winnipeg.
  4. In southern Manitoba, general closure is in effect up to and including May 8th. Season doesn't open till May 9th and all hooks need to be barbless
  5. Don't buy a leaky boat. You'll regret it.
  6. Big fan. Have most of her albums and few DVD's.
  7. Personally, this is the only type I use. Maybe expensive but will out last and out perform any of the plastic crap out there.
  8. Try tire dealers that service agricultural equipment. Many field impliments still use tube tires.
  9. It means the rest of Canada, excluding Ontario, created 35,000 new jobs while Ontario lost 25,000 giving us a net increase of 10,000 jobs.
  10. Now sit back and await the usual "drinking koolaid" rebuttal.
  11. We just use 6 1/2 foot Medium Heavy Berkley Lighting Rods with a Garcia 5500LC spooled with 30lb Power Pro. Early in the season around here, we troll at moderate speed with line weights and a heavy spoon. Later in the season, to go deeper, we troll faster using Dipsy Divers or Pink Ladies with a 3 to 4 foot leader and a spoon. Had great luck with #3 Lucky Strike Canoes in Pearl.
  12. Just like Total Wine & More in Florida. Unbelievable selection of craft beers, wines and hard liquor.
  13. R.I.P. Mike https://youtu.be/qmOLtTGvsbM https://youtu.be/htgr3pvBr-I https://youtu.be/FTQbiNvZqaY
  14. The LCBO is no different. For wine, it's $35,000 per year just to get a listing for one type of wine and there's no guarantee of shelf space. I'm friends with several owners of family run vineyards in Australia, and for them, it's just not worth it. Shame. Consumers in Ontario are deprived of several great products because of the LCBO's greed.
  15. Should be showing more than 12 volts after a complete slow charge IMHO.
  16. Fortunately, I'm not faced with this problem. My wife is just as likely to treat herself to a new rod and reel or tackle as I am .
  17. Recipe for success
  18. It's a good version. Stephen Still's guitar solo near the 5 minute mark is great.
  19. It's still available under Round Up Transorb HC, Round Up Weather Max and Round Up Ultra 2 names, plus the many generic brands of Glyphosate (The patent protection expired many years ago). There's 3 million acres of RR Soyabeans and nearly 2 million acres of RR Corn grown every year in Ontario. It's definitely still available in updated formulations.
  20. Sounds like Canada Thistle. Perenial, deep rooted, and hard to control. The only effective control is Lontrel 360 made by Dow AgriScience. Not cheap and probably hard to come by in southern Ontario.
  21. Can't go wrong with Victoria, but if your looking at the interior, Kelowna's nice.
  22. I've probably order online a least a dozen times and never had a problem yet.
