  1. Hope they nail them.
  2. I just bought a Thinkware H100. Haven't got around to installing it yet. Waiting for warmer weather.
  3. Here's a link to a chart of electrical specs for various Mercury/Mariner motors. http://www.outboardignition.com/page39.asp
  4. Not through the ice, but this fall in the boat I'd just finished removing a hook from a walleye I was throwing back and threw my hook remover into the water instead of the fish.
  5. Or another Canadian classic. http://youtu.be/BOUAcDnvUkQ
  6. A bit of good Canadian folk. http://youtu.be/NtNSljYgDe8
  7. Good James Taylor, but personally this is my favourite. http://youtu.be/cwugjyeSKx4
  8. It is on Cats too, but TORS or TSS problems result in wet/black rich looking plugs not dry grey/white lean looking plugs.
  9. If the plugs look too lean, I doubt you're losing spark (ie TORS/TSS or coil issues) If it was a spark issue, your plugs would be wet and black. Ice is a possibility, but lean can also be caused by leaking crankseals or a cracked carb flange or even just a gummed up carb. I'd be looking at fuel system first.
  10. Good advice.^^ Also check the rubber carb mounting flange for cracks or leaks.
  11. If you do it, use the filter and weigh it compared to and new 1lb. If the 20lb tank is full, it takes about 20 to 30 seconds to fill the 1 lb. As the level in the 20lb goes down, it takes longer. Use soap and water to test the seal after on the 1 lb. After a few uses (5-6) they will leak. There's lots of crap in most 20lb tanks. This said, buy yourself the hose for the Buddy heater and use a 20lb tank with it. Saves a lot of pissing around.
  12. Marine grade Stabil in every tank.
  13. Have you considered an online purchase? Our choices for equipment out here is limited and I've bought through both Cabela's Canada and Wholesale Sports online with no problems and quick service. http://www.cabelas.ca/category/ice-fishing-electronics/2014 http://www.wholesalesports.com/storefront/home/fishing/ice-fishing/ice-fishing-accessories/c0-c20-c204-c204010-p1.html Just a suggestion.
  14. There are so many of them out this way, that I hardly notice them sometimes. Counted fifteen sitting in a group on the ice one March day a couple of years ago. These two decided to take a rest on my front lawn a few years back.
  15. I use one of these. Keeps my fingers warm and my beer cold
  16. The 72 Panther, unfortunately. That 440 Nitro was my cousins. A sled way ahead of it's time.
  17. My sled back in my teens. Many years ago.
  18. Rest in Peace Joe http://youtu.be/G6G1fIbulvo
  19. Some poor driving mixed with some bad tire choices. Studded winters anyone? They're legal through out the whole province of Alberta. Should be legal through out all of Ontario too. That said, it's a matter of personal choice and it should be left that way. I'll always chose the safer option. http://youtu.be/GpJ16qbqH-I
  20. Feel free.
