Tom what about your Pick up?Oh about Toyota there new Toyota Tundra has a recall.So Misfish is right buy a Ford truck. I have a Honda Odessey and yes I can't complain very reliable but If I had to choose between a Honda Ridgeline pickup and a Ford F-150 its a no brainer .Ford trucks Tom I hope you get to Lakair. MTP

I don't know I usually weigh fish not measure them.My Dad caught a 7 foot 3 inch Sailfish in 1978 in Miami.

Good the weather will be cool so I expect to see lots of fish pics from all Lakair attendees and you can't use the its too hot excuse.Now go catch some fish And Roy if you bring your boat try and go fishing Bud you can socialise in the boat. MTP

Its really strange to see that Wayne is not the top poster of the day This vacation will give him plenty of time to accumalate some fish pics for a decent report Which he was lacking. What I do miss is how willing Wayne is to go out of his way to help others. MTP

OO7 buy yourself a rubber net they have changed the hang ups in the net for me.Once you use a rubber net you will never look back.It saves on time when you want to release the fish quickly and don't worry the net stretches quite a bit a 33 ince pike fit no problem not to mention 30 inch walleyes.Good luck on the next outing.MTP Oh and in the boat a net is a must unless you don't mind losing fish

After years of fishing I would have to say if a fish is hungry he's not judging what kind of line you are using.Fish are not that smart. I fish walleye in some rapids my friend who ties his rapalas direct and I use swivels and sometimes a leader because of pike .I catch just as many walleye as him. I have tried the seagar line ya its pretty invisible but I don't think it makes a huge difference.I would like to add I am not impressed with the quality of this line it breaks very easily it is brittle and obtains line abrasion fairly easily.I am not impressed with this line for what it costs. One thing I would like to add is I prefer black leaders for pike over the silver ones. For now on I use Stren Super Braid.

I mostly catch and release but I love to eat Walleyes and perch .Pike and Bass go back in the water .Speckled trout are tasty.I had Lake trout for the first time this year and I have to say next time I will let it go .Not as good as speckles. I would have to say 70% of the time I catch and release. MTP

Nice report Cliff I always enjoy the look on your Daughters face when she catches a fish.Her friend seems to have enjoyed himself.Love how you have time for couple fishing and family fishing.Another enjoyable report and its OK to get skunked. MTP
