Well, i must say, that was excellent. I tried the maple syrop, and it was fantastic Who would have thought that walleye and maple syrop would go well together An i deep fried it. Deep fried bacon Yummmm, i can feel my arteries hardening already.

Now i dont know what to do I will do them half and half and let ya know which is best

This thread keeps getting better and better. Just so happens i took a couple of packs of walleye out of the freezer.I want to do the bacon thing.Would it be better in the oven or my deep fryer?

While we are on the subject,(sorry to hijack the thread) can someone send me the link to where ever i can purchase a yearly, out of province license to fish Ontario.I am in Quebec, and tend to fish often in Ontario.For me its probably worthwhile just to get a full year license and if necessary an outdoors card.

Don't have any words of wisdom that would fit the circunstances, just love him as your friend, and share your courage with him. Just a heads up. Maybe take a collection up, from his friends and familly, and get him a motorized fishing reel(if he really loves fishing)They are quite expensive, but are a great aid to handicapped anglers. Paul

Too Late !!!!! This year is the worse i have ever seen.My house was built in the 40's so i get a couple mice in the winter all the time. This year i am getting at least 1 a nite. maybe the mild weather is keeping them more actuive

I use a deep frier and any taste/odor stays in the oil, not in the appliance.The one i own has a permanent filter in the cover.All i do is put the lid in the dishwasher and it is cleaned.

I find it has way too much spool memory for my liking.Yes, it casts great, but i wont buy it again.

Too funny !!!! Mine are scared dung-less by the fish i`ve introduced them too.Maybe if i didnt chase them around the house with it, making loud chomping noises, they might be less afraid

I dont know if mice would be a major problem if you are storing the boat completely outdoors.Usually they are seeking a warm spot in a building or underground.Someplace where the snow will keep them insulated from the cold.A boat hull, on a trailer 2 feet above ground, would be a cold place to spend the winter. I would think storing it inside would be more of an attraction to mice, than keeping it in a backyard. just remove the seats and cushions and life jackets etc. But put some moth balls in anyways, just to be sure.
