  1. No doubt Chris. Challenge is, I know of three common cats from my immediate neighbours & it's none of theirs for sure. It's now dark & I don't think unknown neighbours would appreciate a random knock on the door. Further, I live right on credit valley & we get our fair share of wildlife scavengers. Can't leave the cat exposed??
  2. About 40 minutes ago, I accidentally ran over a cat while backing up my driveway to the rear parking pad (big blind spot between back of the house, parking & garage). So, here's my dilemma & would be appreciative of some feedback or votes. After careful thought, I think I have it down to the following options (BTW, not a big cat, maybe 6/7 lbs tops) a: bury it 3 ft under with the other 'unfortunates'? b: attempt to locate owner?? I'm definitely leaning to plan a.
  3. Definitely not haha. Strictly cottage boat. The package we trialled was definitely not suited to fishing. I'm trying to get the 'fishing' package demo lined up for next trip in 2 weeks. ps. You sayin the Sylvan is 2nd class?????
  4. @ Brian With a 3' Al folding ramp, Sean rolls easy from dock to deck & tons of room for maneuverability Sure beats the lift set up & tear down as well as limited room on board the Sylvan. Which BTW is not going anywhere @ Dave Yeppir, most of the better mfrs now offer a 3rd toon which runs deeper than the outer toons. Supposedly for improved steering (which I believe is true) as well as improved stability in 'open water' ???? As for the power, I would probably upgrade to a 90 max. Primary need is accessibility but we would see some recreational use as well. @ Mr. G Thx for the advice, will definitely consider.
  5. I test drived this ride for 3 days this past week for an accessibility evaluation. Harris Cruiser 200 modestly powered by a Merc 50 Top speed 19 MPH !!!!!! Nice ride though

  11. Sorry to say, but not lot to do on a rainy day in Parry Sound Rob. That said, PS does have a World Class Blue Certified Beach. Waubuno Beach: http://www.parrysound.ca/en/visit-us/Beaches-and-Swimming.asp It is very family friendly, clean facilities & safe waters for the little ones. Definitely worth a family day picnic @ the beach
  12. Hahaha. Prison? Really? You're delusional. & I think you meant to spell l-o-s-e-r ?
  13. Really????? There's plenty of room @ CBC.ca and a far more dedicated audience for posts like this.
  14. Our family is so saddened by your news Wayne. She is truly a legend. Our hearts are with you and yours in the coming hours and days. God Bess, Simon & Family
  15. All the best Gerritt. Keep on working hard & stay committed.
  16. x2. There is a lot of valuable informtation under 'North Shore Reports' but you need to register as a member to access. The site is dedicated to LO Sammie fishing.
  17. Paul, I have 2 extra 4' sections of the puck board. There yours if you want them. Power loading is so much easier & safer My boat is a 21' Sylavn & I can power up with a lot less throttle & more control. Wayne,Here's a pik of the hull in line with puck board runners. Not a scratch
  18. I got the 4' puck boards off of Fishfarner (thx again) & had enough to do 2 x 8' on the runners. On second thought, I wasn't comfortable with reduced friction the full length of the 8' runners when towing, braking or launching. So I decided to run 4' of board + 4' of carpet. I only need the 4' of board @ the front end of the runners when power loading the boat (21' Sylvan) anyways. The 4' of carpet gives added friction to help prevent the boat from sliding under tow, braking & launching. I measured the depth of the puck board & the height of the carpet and calculated how much I would have to rip off the front 4' of runner to end up with carpet & board on equal plane. Here's a pic. The best I could get with the boat on the trailer. If the winds back down tomorrow, I'll get another few pix.
  19. I particularly enjoyed the goat rodeo episode I'll manage the rods on Sunday Thx for taking the time to put this together Rick. Well done & great read !!!
  20. Holy moley Lew. Happy to hear you're all square.
  21. Damn it Hang in there Brian and do what you're told. If there is ANYTHING you need, I am a PM or phone call away.
  22. I have never used the salties & am somewhere between a newbie & veteran fishing Salmon on LO. Have hooked and landed all my biggest fish on Orcas holding wire dipsey combos off both sides of the boat & lead core down the chute. If drags are set proper, you will never have an issue with the Orcas.
