  1. Each owner of each fish punches a a hole in a designated fin or section thereof with a prescribed # of punched holes to identify each individual's fish. To keep track of individual possession limits.
  2. This is not remotely funny. Not even close.
  3. If anyone from the west side of GTTA (Greater THAN Toronto Area) is interested in carpooling, shoot me a pm. I'll be leaving 1230ish.
  4. Another vote for John (Active Green + Ross) in Milton. He's our family go to guy now & it's worth the 30 minute drive from Mississauga.
  5. All is well. I spoke with Cliff Thursday evening & his family is by his side & spending Thanksgiving weekend together. We made plans to spend an extended weekend @ the cottage later this month.
  6. Sue was one of the finest women our family has ever known. We all share your sadness my friend. Thoughts are with you and prayers for Sue's peaceful journey. M & I will see you soon...............
  7. No clue here as to legality. But I've often wondered how much human 'waste' is expelled during hard water season on heavily fished lakes? Like Simcoe??
  8. Real curious how it ended up that way???? SUV south of it did not have a hitch. LOL. That's a 407 transponder & M was driving. I'm in the MV1 directly in front. Passing slower moving traffic per the HTA Dash cam wise guy
  9. Captured on 09/24 South of Mapleview on 400SB
  10. Tragic news John. Condolences to all who knew your good friend.
  11. For sure. Lots of fish in that lake.
  12. Rona used to have a reputation for best quality wood but my last major project was 10+ hrs ago. I'm sure many contractors & serious DIY's here will chime in? Also, check with your contractor for alternate sources? + contractor will likely get a discounted price?
  13. Seems the fishing gods were with you . In the event they are not, here's a great video on quick & easy untangling a birds nest: Tried & true. Works every time.
  14. My birthdays just around the corner LOL, Dancing Rainbow. Good times Brian That's the one Rick. I'll find one come ........
  15. @ OI, Thx John. NB's have been out of production since 14/15ish but I'll follow up on your leads. It's one of those 'confidence lures' @ Gallie, Appreciate that. If you find anything, PM me & let me know if your interested in $$ or trade. Thx Porkpie. Been trolling quite a few years & put many on PB's & a few Tyees but was nice to get this one for myself
  16. A new PB & Boat Best for me . 15 lb 9 oz. Fought like a beast & peeled line like a big King. Destroyed the SPRO & treble snapped on first pull !! The catcher: Green Nasty Boy (middle in photo). SIL replaced the treble, replaced the SPRO @ cut off the nicked end of the 12 lb. Seaguar. Back down on the rigger to 35'. FISH ON . FISH GONE . Retrieved the limp line and found the leader gone with the uni still intact. I suppose we were fortunate to land the big bow, but SIL is distraught over the loss of his favourite spoon. So.......if any one reading here happens to have one or more that never sees the water........? If I remember correctly, I think the lost lure was a smaller version of what's attached here. Maybe 3" ? Shoot me a pm if you have any available please. BTW, I used IMGUR to post the pix off the mobile site. Their app though does not have the option for linking BB codes. At least not on IOS??
  17. Grandkids are fun. When they're not, you get to return them. Congratulations.
  18. So if the "real issue" is "a length of rope with 5 gaff hooks tied to it", why the "focus" on "a family of foreigners" ???? Your post is "offensive". & so is FloatnFly's. Give your head another shake.
  19. I posted a few weeks back looking for an outboard manual. I ended up getting the screen shot I needed (thx to Big Cliff & BC Jr) but I continued my quest to obtain the entire manual for '91 Merc 115. So after continued & dogged determination, I found the following site deep in my google search results and happy to share with everyone here. The site: http://boatinfo.no/lib/library.html The facts: - Original OEM service manuals in their entirety - Owners manuals & marketing manuals as well - No sketchy registration required - NO COST except for cost of printing - Does not work on mobile devices. You'll need to acces via desk/laptop - Download & print max 25 pages at a time - Print to PDF to save $$ but still restricted to 25 page limit - All major OEMs available for HP & years back to 50s/60s through current (I think?) I am a happy owner of a 379 page printed & bound manual @ zero cost :) Printing & binding was no cost as a major printer OEM is a client of mine Cheers
  20. Really? That's a serious accusation that you have zero proof of. The guy acknowledged his fish were "over 40" after being "kindly reminded". Does this make him a liar because he didn't include this in his conversation prior?? Hardly think so.
