  1. Dont fish Lake O in the summer with braid. Your line will look like a flea circus crossing the Niagara. Frankie65 can tell you a story about that Pikeslayer has the set up if you dont have a flea issue on your waters ---, similar to what Dan Keating uses and that guy seems to land a few.
  2. been there, got the shirt. Less haste, more speed. Sorry about your luck, RHF hit it bang on.
  3. cool report and a few nice walters well done - of course you were half way to Nipigon you know?
  4. Good for you. The smile on both of your faces says it all. That is a heavy load you're carrying - I lost my Mum to cancer and my Dad to dementia in an 18 month period - he was going through the aggressive stage as she was detriorating. The POA's indeed bring a heavy burden of responsibility. But what you are doing is a good thing - all around. My best wishes. Oh - and uncle Jack is very cool - love the shot with the two of them in the tractor with the matching freezies (edited for spelling)
  5. great report - the shots of Lew casting are v. cool. Looks like a great time was had by all.
  6. right on Paul - what great way to spend time with family. Life has a way of making that harder, so the times we manage are all the better.
  7. nice going Richard - nothing like putting a bud onto a PB and slamming some beauty fish at the same time

  9. Congrats on the PB, that thing's a tank.

  12. Beauty ride all weather fishin pleasure
  13. Thanks - I have been wondering about a trip up there - that was just what I needed to clinch the decision
  14. Many moons ago. Didnt have much time for fishing when I was there, but what I did was tough. Caught one nice trout, about 2 lbs trolling behind the canoe for about 5 hours of effort over 2 days. Like most of the drive in lakes, pressure has pretty much decimate any chance of catching much. Great campground though (or used to be 10+ years ago)
  15. Excellent report as always. Some beauty fish to start your season off - hopefully this year you find that 50 you've been hunting for. Dave (Trojan Tackle) makes a set up - love mine
  16. excellent report and some cool background history on your favourite locale- I remember reading your earlier post on the old trapper set up - cool you managed to find out some history on it. Congrats on the PB - that is one dark walleye.
  17. congrats on great day on the water. 75!.

  23. nice day jacques. Gotta love it when the Karma comes together like that, - all that time doing the honey do list built you up a bifgaccount of goooooood fishin'
  24. sometimes the toughest ones to live through are the ones we remember the best, Great report: I have cetainly had more than a few "long-wet-wont-work" weekends - they make the best campfire stories next year(s)
