  1. Definitely a sad story. I wish you well!
  2. Well stated SHP! I agree. Awesome board! On page one I had a category - "most bizarre comments on any thread" Rusty Aren't you curious to know who "Rusty" is??
  3. I don't see gold for our guys although I am screaming for them through every game. They are not shooting at the net! Period! What's with all this fancy stickhandling & lame passes when they should be shooting especially when there is an open lane! I've seen an open lane several times & not a shot at the net. Damit don't get me wound up!! Muddler - I disagree. You have to come to the game to give 110% every game, not when you feel like it! - it's a very short tourney. Garnet - yup, they're standing around waiting for a gold medal to be hung around their neck! My rant - thanx for reading. I hope I'm wrong cuz I want gold for Canada!!
  4. Pike hunter - Those dogs are awesome! I stayed at a camp in Shining tree for a week & never saw a bear because of those 2 dogs. Yet the 1 dog would come to our cabin & play with my tiny fox terrier.
  5. Awesome story - Thanx Drifter. May he RIP
  6. Woo Hoo! I secured 2 hard copies for 2016! I was in CTC Welland today, asked at the customer service desk for a copy. Her reply was they don't usually get them till about April?? I went to the sporting goods counter. - Guess what? A box of the regs.
  7. 2015 was great! I'm a workaholic, but was forced (laid off) out of work in Fort Mac, so I took advantage of the time off. I was off all of July & August. I had numerous trips up to my fav lakes north of Sudbury, near shining tree. Caught lottsa walleye up there, many shore lunches & the most beautiful scenery to behold. Was able to get on Erie a few times to chase lunker walleye. I did OK but the numbers were down compared to other years. But it's all good - at least I was on the water!! Also our 2nd grandson was born Mar 1 - he's a cutie! Down side was my fav neice was diagnosed with cancer in November. She's in chemo treatments now & everything seems to improve. I'm looking forward to 2016 - gonna ask for a lay off for the summer! Like semi - retirement. I'm not planning any fishing trips with Ironmaker. He's not very good at it? He just likes to get his boat wet! LOL!
  8. I just purchased my first set of winter tires on my F-150. Same Hankooks Joey described. We haven't had any snow yet in Niagara to give them an evaluation. According to the above posts - I did the right thing!
  9. Yup install a rod holder! Especially if you're in deeper water dragging a dipsey.
  10. Yup - best DIY Drifter's cabin construction! By the way, why haven't we seen any reports lately? LOL! Cooking thread is awesome! Thanx Manitou Borger tied with Moosebunk for "adventure of a lifetime!" Close second that limey guy! Awesome videos. I'm a walleye guy so of course I always tune into your posts. Joey's wildlife photos are awesome! Big Cliff - Let's just say he is an interesting person. It must be the water he is drinking from the Kawarthas! Most heart wrenching story is definitely Mr. Irishfield Bizarre comments added to any thread - "Rusty!"
  11. I'd like a paper copy. Non available where I shop.
  12. Very tragic, after reading the story.
  13. I'm in Johnny D! You misread my other post. In case your dementia is acting up, I wrote - "I'm in, as long as you're buying! LOL! Ok, I'll buy you a lemonade!

  17. Merry Christmas TJ & to your family as well!
  18. CBC news reported that last night, stating it was really Rick Mercer, the real Santa escaped unscathed! I have proof. Santa stopped at my house last night!
  19. Not me! I was at home wrapping my wife's Christmas present!
  20. I'm off through the entire holiday season. WOO HOO!! Merry Christmas to all!
  21. Merry Christmas to you Drifter!
  22. Merry Christmas Lew & your family as well! I put up outdoor lights Tuesday, wifey & I decorated our tree Tuesday evening (with a Caesar of course), wrapped gifts last night for our 2 lovely daughters & 3 grandchildren. This afternoon we are visiting our daughter's home in Stoney Creek, tomorrow we are hosting a small dinner for a few family members. We will have our family Christmas on Monday 28th, due to our eldest daughter working the weekend at Holiday Inn in Windsor. I can't wait to see the little ones open gifts. At my age I don't need or want much, it's more enjoyable to watch the little guys. Merry Christmas to all!
