Lew for the Win!!! http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p15/lewndi/new%20home/Cnv0768.jpg Using solid wood doors for the bench tops works good Ted... also try and get a piece of old conveyor belt to go on top of it... (QBM on grays road should be able to help ya out...)

and this is why i buy tires at costco... free lifetime rotation/balancing/flat repair and nitrogen filled also... The cheapest price is not always the best option
-
Sorry to hear Brian

i've never caught anything on my automatic fisherman... here is a tip though... buy the one that comes with the rod/reel, trying to get a rod with the proper eye placement is almost impossible...

Micheline LTX MS2 Best tires and longest lasting... Also when buying tires I get mine at Costco, you get lifetime rotation AND BALANCING, free flat repair and they fill the tires with nitrogen... that to me is worth the added cost... also stock size tires on your jimmy are 235-70-15, but the standard tire size is 235-75-15 that'll add 3km/hr at 100kph...

this is the way i saw it... from a financial point of view... Driving Time(from my place): Marineland 30min drive Wonderland 1hr drive (without traffic - not likely) Edge: Marineland Parking costs: MArineland free, Wonderland $10 (i think, haven't been in a few years) or $35 for a season parking pass Edge: Marineland Ticket Costs: Marineland $47 (season pass) Wonderland $86 (season pass) Edge: Marineland Food Cost: Marineland - Bring your own and eat in park Wonderland - Get ripped off, or walk back to your car for food/drinks Edge: Marineland Funfactor: Marineland - not bad Wonderland - Awesome Edge: Wonderland For me atleast Marineland is an obvious choice... Wife doesn't like rides anyways, and i'm not much for shows... but don't mind watching the animals... plus hit the casino on the way home also.... I'll go with Marineland over wonderland...

probably late but... coolers are not a problem... tons of people bring them and they have picnic areas/picnic tables all around keeps your cost down... don't know of any discounts, but for an extra $5 you get a season pass which is good for the whole season...

those seats are but ugly...

The launch at the Dam is good, nice and shallow but $10 Fishmasters launch is ok, but steep... $5 the launch at the mouth of the river is free, but if its windy, it's not fun to launch/load from...

Serious towing with a Safari / Astro Van?
Uncle Buck replied to Rattletrap2's topic in General Discussion
anything will tow anything almost... question is at what longevity and at what cost... -
Lowrance transducers not much better... how many issues with moisture in the HDS sonars? as for it being an inferior product? it's personal preference... never had any issues with my HB transducers... Are you running the sonar and the VHF off the same battery? another reason for static... I also notice when my gauges are off my compass on the dash reads out of whack, shut the key off and it goes right... What sonar unit Dave?
