Hit Binbrook today... it was a disappointment in terms of service... first i got ripped off at the gate , not much, but not the point... then was told that since not fishing the derby that i have to fish west of the x-mas trees... get there to find that they put a chain to not be able to access the parking lot down by the old "boat launch" with a vehicle... start walking and got buried a few places in waist high snow... lots of fun... no access point at the ice either... great i'm 6'6" and barely managed to get out/unstuck getting on/off the ice... would hate to have seen what would have happened to a shorter person... then find no garbage cans in the area to throw out the garbage, only trash can i seen was at the front gate... seen a snowmobile towing a private hut back to shore also??? what gives there?? left around 3pm and went in to let the people at the gatehouse know how i felt and find that it's locked up and they are gone... what a joke... seriously not impressed!!

Ha!! Changed the head gasket, intake gasket, exhaust manifold gaskets, tie-rods, ball joints, sleeves, idler arm, pitman arm, rad, water pump, front brakes, tires, alignment, pcv, switched out the death-cool... we'll see who outlasts who, me the truck or the truck me...

I have the east man 4man ice cube.. 4 man = 2 comfortable with heater, sonar, minnow bucket and cooler inside without rubbing each other... Clam Summit should fish 3 people comfortably...

oh yeah, the 4" is a rocket through the ice... first time i used it i was shocked how quick it drills...

I bought mine used... so no idea where he could get one new... but tell him to make sure he can find a scoop that'll fit in a 4" hole... the guy i bought mine from gave it with the purchase, and told me to take care of it cause good luck finding one this small...

my buddy used to work at a place that made garage doors... they did tests and it's unbelievable how much energy you save by having an insulated garage door... the father in law put the styrafoam panel in his... works good and cheap!!

when we moved into our appartment... the glare was horrible on my 27" jvc tube tv... i tried moving it on every side of the room with no luck... we picked up a 50" plasma and it has solved the glare issue completely... Wasn't planning on buying a tv, but the price on the plasma was what made the sale...

hold the propane tank in your float suit to keep it warm... plus side to the propane powered is the fact that your hands won't stink of gasoline... like everything new... wait a season or 2 for them to get the bugs worked out...

i've thrown it in a bunch of times... never a sniff..

i've got 3 humminbirds... for the price and the features, you can't beat them... compare the specs to lowrance...

pedal/seat placement and seat height are very important if you go with a cable steer model... haven't heard any negative reports on the electric steer terrovas though...

power is never enough!!!

buy your boots a few sizes bigger so you can wiggle your toes... wiggling them will circulate the blood in them and help keep them warm... when ice fishing get a 2" thick piece of styrafoam and put your feet on it... that'll also help... i use the bass pro lifetime socks and never had any issues... also have boots similar to this one and love them... the insulation is only in the bottom part of the boot, (remainder is under float suit) plus it's rubber/waterproof all the way up... mine are only 1200g of thinsulate... mine have a better tread, but these ones have more insulation http://www.basspro.com/RedHead-16-2000-Gram-Insulated-Waterproof-Rubber-Boots-for-Men/product/10202000/-1606230
