  1. I know one thing for sure, the 8-9 lber I caught gave me the hardest hit I've had ice fishing, and, fought amazingly well. Once you get over the strangeness of them, they are truly a fun fish to catch. As for eating, I know I'll be keeping one again next time I'm at Nipissing!!
  2. Yeah, it sure felt great to toss some hardware for the first time in three months! Always fun fishing with friends, especially when you make a new one. Good to meet you after a bunch of pm's, Chris. As for the fishing, the home team beat out us visitors Definitely looking forward to some early season trolling. I know Rick is climbing the walls waiting to get the boat out
  3. Awesome Chad, man I wish I could get up there one more time this year!!
  4. Great stuff, Simon!!!!! Love the snowy Saturday shots, reminds me of our last full day up at Nipissing this year.
  5. Beautiful rainbow Jacques, nice to get rid of that skunky smell, eh?
  6. If they win this one, we'll all have to chip together for seats for all the rest of the home games for him
  7. Sounds like a great weekend Cliff. Good to hear Simon (Pikeslayer) is out fishing. I, for one, miss his participation on the board.
  8. Nice haul!! Hitting that area on Saturday with some family.
  9. Great post and congratulations, Nick!!!!! Specks and crappies, mmmmmmm...two of my favorites on the plate.
  10. Kudos to the Sens for bouncing back after that ugly stretch. We'll see if "my" Leafs can do the same. This week should tell the story.
  11. Picked up a Supreme for ice fishing, love it. Also love both my Pflueger Arbors. Have also bought two Pfluegers for Juli, and both have been smooth as silk. Best reels for the money right now.
  12. Hey it's Alfredsson in his pre haircut days
  13. Awesome Brian. Have to love a five day chrome plan in FEBRUARY!!!
  14. Which will be a great thing for the bows!! They are sooo much better in the fall. That said, way to go Emil. This is still a fun time to catch them.
  15. Since I don't have Dave's "popcorn eating" emoticon...this will have to do
  16. Good point Aaron. The Mepps Cyclops has worked great for my better half. She caught her 8.5 lber on it last Saturday. Perch love it too.
  17. Not sure if he does. I actually ordered mine from The Fishin Hole.
  18. Here's a link for the pk http://www.pklures.com/
  19. Try a PK spoon, no bait necessary. Doing really well with them in the prairie provinces for walleye.
  20. It's been so many years since I've been to any of the shows I'm happy to just go and spend a day being surrounded by the sport I love!! Don't really care if I get a "deal" or not.
  21. BINGO!! Let's hope Burke isn't that foolish!!
  22. Nicely done!! Some beautiful chromers as a reward for a long trek in miserable conditions I'm still hoping for one last ice outing, but, I'm pretty close to closing the books on the short hardwater season.
  23. I don't like that one...other than getting rid of Komisarek. Grabovski has been the Leafs most consistent player this year, I still wouldn't give up on Schenn, and Kadri won't get a fair shake from coach Wilson. Anyone else was coaching he'd be in the line up, IMO. The Leafs are still light years away from winning the cup, they are a young team...DO NOT trade away the future like so many managers have done in the past.
