  1. Some nice perch, Cosmos. Hoping to get out with my "old man" a few times this year.
  2. Very nice gator!!!! The perch aren't too shabby either
  3. Yeah, Paul, the paper one is fine. We were checked out on Nipissing, no issues using it.
  4. Ordered Juli's six weeks ago...still using the piece of paper
  5. Awesome Rob! Good to see you had a great time, with a nice feed to boot. Juli and I loved our nightly perch (with a few walleye) dinners up there.
  6. Some beautiful rainbows. and, perch, Jacques!! Well done. All in all a pretty darn good weekend of fishing for you, bud!!!
  7. She won on biggest walleye, and most perch...I actually landed one more walleye, and, one more ling....but who's counting
  8. Notice the line that states, "photos must be from this year"....plus, I don't think pulling random photos of the net, quite cuts it, either
  9. You might want to read those rules. again. skip...just sayin.
  10. Okay, now you are just torturing us ...Yum!!!
  11. Hey, you got out and avoided mr "white stripe", anyways, Brian.
  12. Thanks Harrison. I'm lucky to have such a great woman/fishing buddy in my life. Hope the info I sent helps, Brian. I'm sure the two of you would have a fun time. Thanks, Mike! Good luck! The two larger ling really scrapped well on our light equipment. Thanks, Bob. Lots of small walleye, and decent perch to fill in between bigger fish. Thanks for the compliment, and, the reply to my PM. Thanks to Jacques for a great explanation on how to use multiquote. MERCI!!!
  13. Great stuff, Jacques. I can taste those specks now. Still amazes me that you can use that many lines at once...definitely makes for an efficient setup.
  14. Same with my old Lowrance X100C. Can see the tiny barrel swivel for a leader as well. No delay, and that is using a regular transducer. I was going to pick up the actual ice ducer, but for the $100, I can't quite justify it. I've fished twice with a flasher, and had success. but I'll still take a graph over them anytime. Have fun with the X67!!
  15. Some nice eating right there!! Looks like you hit the right day.
  16. Hey, Joey! The ling was surprisingly good. Had heard so much about them, we had to try one. I cut the meat into cubes, boiled for between 10-12 minutes. Dipped in melted butter, lobster style, and enjoy. Good meat on the back, and, the tail. The skin is slimy and stinky...similiar odour to a musky, but, the meat is nice white flesh. We would both definitely eat one again.
  17. Looks like TSC has all their portable heaters on sale for 30 % off this week. I use a Coleman (think it's a Pro Cat) in our Clam 2000. Picked it up for $30 at Liquidation World two years ago. Does the job, adequately, in my hut...might be a little weak in a pop-up with no floor.
  18. Cute pup, Simon! Love the "gremlin" ears in the first shot!
  19. Can't figure out how to use the darn multiquote feature, so... Thanks Roy...we definitely will savour this one for years. Nipfisher...yeah from what we experienced, and, other reports I've read the ling are plentiful, and, willing. Plus they are hitting at anytime of day! Rob...hope the info I sent you helps. Go get 'em!!! Jacques...it truly was a well deserved break after many hours spent on the foundation repair, and, basement reno's. Everyone else...thanks, again!!
  20. Let's put it this way...we fished for two full days, and, a half day on two others. Juli never changed her lure! Silver Swedish Pimple with orange tape tipped with a full minnow. I also had pretty good success with a silver/black W5 Rapala Jiggin Rap, tipped with a minnow head on the lower treble. Good Luck!
  21. Definitely one of my top five dream trips, too!!
  22. Thanks for all the great comments guys!! Even you, Wayne Special thanks to Dan for the new fishfinder battery, lol!! She outlasted my old one by a longshot.
