  1. Great tip, Chris. Noticed the pic has 1/2", but, you mentioned 1/4"? Are the ones in the pic, the actual screws you used? Have an older pair of Kamiks that might just get this "upgrade"
  2. Very nice. Hoping to get into a few of those jumbos on Sunday. Congrats on the PB.
  3. Don't feel bad, Craig. Those are all great accomplishments. Making someone laugh is never a bad thing. Plus, that is one of my favorite fishing show episodes of all time. Think Bob pretty much p'd himself!
  4. That makes two of us Rob. Sometimes, on a winter day, I just like to kick back and watch some fishing. As far as Craig on Bob's show, I still chuckle to myself when I think of the episode on the Ganny where Craig finally landed a bow out of a certain hole...after sliding down the bank, and soaking the heck out of himself, lol!! Sorry, Craig
  5. Yup, the paper one is fine. The better half had to use it at Nipissing last week for a spot check. Yup, STILL waiting...close to two months now.
  6. Good report, Chris. Going to hit Simcoe for a few of those tasty striped fish on Sunday. The "whirpool" ice hole shot is pretty cool
  7. Some really nice perch, Mike. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to getting a feed, or two, of them myself on Sunday.
  8. Done, Craig. Found the question about buying fishing product based on a fishing tv hosts recommendation the hardest to answer. Would have liked a "none of the above" option on that one. We all know sponsors are what make the tv world go 'round, and, it is pretty near impossible for any of these hosts to give an unbiased opinion on tackle. Hey, it's just the way it is.
  9. Why is the rum always gone????? Captain Jack Sparrow
  10. Think part of the problem is they aren't sold in as many locations as the Mustangs or Helly Hansens. Perhaps they need a better marketing team??
  11. Did you ask Jocelyn, yet, Vince. I'm sure he'd know if it is possible.
  12. Absolutely spectacular. I truly look forward to your reports. Hopefully we don't have to wait as long for the next one
  13. The new Helly Hansens are. Good point though, if you are going for a floater suit, get something that will truly float.
  14. Welcome to "the family" Jay. Always happy to read Quinte, Nip and Simcoe adventures
  15. Oops, I never even checked the original dates on this one. I blame it on lack of ice down here
  16. It's the best of both worlds option...coffee for the first half, then "ice coffee". It truly is an absolutely silly size to sell in a cup.
  17. Funny, but, I noticed up at Nipissing last week, I caught as many fish while just leaning back and not looking at the Lowrance as I did while using it. That said, I would never go on the ice (other than 4-6 feet of water at LPB) without it!
  18. Good that you got out, Andrew. Was hoping to possibly hit Simcoe this weekend, but, definitely not looking good after yesterday. Doubt you are working on the Giesler now, but, still have some contact info, and pics, coming your way...Craig is "slightly challenged" on the computer, so, I'll see if I can get them and send them to you.
  19. LOL...24 ounces, man, that's alot of pee breaks fishing in the morning
  20. First off, nice to see you and "the captain" getting out on the ice. Leave it to him to be prepared with a second unit. Guess, on the bright side, better you had the issues now then on your big outing in a few weeks. Definitely brave tearing her apart like that.
  21. X 3....Jocelyn is "the man", when it comes to Lowrance.
  22. Some nice winter trout Aaron. This winter is definitely a "take it where you can get it" one. Good dirty water tips, as well.
  23. Google Northland Fishing Tackle. Great jigging spoon, caught my PB Quinte Ice walleye on one.
