Frankly, i'm getting sick of new leafs threads after every game. Same drivel game after game. BEAKING OFF WIN OR LOSE. I sure wish Bettman would grant a NHL team to Hamilton. But he knows not too or all you Leaf fans will be screaming" We want an NHL team too, thats not fair." Go fish.

First name that came to my head was Sarah....don't know why. Solo I would just let your kids decide on a name for her.

The last time I checked the Consumer's Report book, Samsung was the best quality for your buck. But it's the cables the sales people try to sell you that are the big rip off. There is no difference in picture quality if you use 15.00 dollar connection cables versus the 100.00 dollar or more Monster cables that they try to sell you before you leave the store. I was amazed when I saw this test done by an independent lab that tested picture quality using sophisticated equipment and the picture quality was exactly the same.

Is it just me, or is anyone else finding this site incredibly slow.

Sorry to break the news to ya's boys and girls but Yardworks are junk period. When it comes to snowblowers Areins is the way to go. My family has used them for 25 yrs and they are by far the best out there, for design and reliability. I'm still using a 93 8 hp and its still running strong. Your problem is an easy fix though Blaque. And there made in the good old U.S.A. Just saying.

Update on the Crank Baits & Spinnerbaits
fish_fishburn replied to Leecher's topic in General Discussion
Hey Leechman, those baits look like you have been making them for years. All I can say is they look awesome. Good job and hold on tight when you start firing them around your favorite spots. -

You guys staying in the Mikey Bigfish cabin at Merland, don't burn it down cause I have it booked for the 25th to 28th. Good luck and hope someone catches a 15 lber.

I have had Husky breeds for most of my life. I have a 11/2 year old male Syberian right now. They are great dogs but are totally wired for high gear all the time. They can be stubborn at times but are very happy dogs when you put them to work. Mine hauls all my gear out on the ice for me in the winter and just loves it. They are a very loyal dog and like to please but they need alot of your time for training. And when their coat blows out....well let's not go there. There great to take out on the mountian bike cause you barely have to peddle. If you were to get one, introduce it to the water as soon as possible and you will have a good fishing buddy. You have to watch the heat though in the summer months.

Those Dollies are huge...well done.

Why do Fishing shows promote this ?
fish_fishburn replied to AverageJoeFishing's topic in General Discussion
I have caught lots of bass in tournaments where they have been hooked deep. You make the decision to not try and take your jig out and damage the fish more since they are already bleeding. In the livewell they go and I give them lots of oxygen. At the weigh in the fish is doing fine and the jig is laying in the bottom of my livewell. This has happened so often to me that it doesn't suprise me anymore. Bass have a way of regurgitating the obstruction out of their throats. Don't know how they do it, but they do it. I would say there is a 50/50 chance that they will work it out on their own. -
Thats totally awesome. Ya got me thinking how long it's been since I caught a Dolly. Twenty five years ago and it's time to go catch a few more.

Nice ride Mike. Don't waste any money on accessories. Make sure that front end is in good shape. They are known for a weak front end. Hows the exhaust doing? And yes clean the pecker tracks off the seats.

I will be down there in 25 days, and your right Mike, don't mind getting skunked when your fishing for a trophy. I'm still trying for my first 15 lber. May never get it and who cares, but them 13's are pretty special. I think you are just a bit early for the big girls.

Fluorocarbon Comparison test by Brand
fish_fishburn replied to bassfighter's topic in General Discussion
I have always thought floro line was just a gimmick. Then I started to try different products and have come to the conclussion that they pretty much are more gimmick than performance. But then again, I rarely fish gin clear water. -
For acting like a minor leaguer he should have to ride the bus and play six games down on the farm. Having stated that, it's pretty hard to contain yourself when some idiot fan thinks he can spit on you because he has bought a expensive ticket.

A similar situation happened to me as a kid. By age 11 my buddies and I all had pellet guns and sling shots. We would hunt in the bush behind my house for rabbits birds and whatever else moved. When that got boring we started hunting each other. Then one day Larry got shot in the nose and had to go to the hospital. All our dads were soldiers at the time and was my oldman ever pissed at me. Our dads sat the five of us down on the back step and made us watch as our weapons were destroyed with a hacksaw. Some of the boys were crying but I think I was crapping my pants because I was pretty sure I was dead meat when I got home. By 14 we all had our hunters safety courses and hunting licence's and never had an issue with weapons again. I was suprised my oldman didn't take me to the woodshed when we got home but we had a serious man to boy talk. Now throwing firecrackers at my sister and her friends won me a free ticket to the woodshed. I still remember that one. Wasn't pretty.

Sounds like a heaad bearing, you might as well change the midsection bearing at the same time. The replacement bearings and races are all steel. there a bit noisier but will last. The original races on mine were made of teflon, quiet but....

I have a 2000 f-150. Started as a tic on the left side. Got it fixed and,no more tic 600.00 gone. Two weeks ago started as a tic again, pulling the bassboat out of the water and the tic is now sounding like a tank. Under closer inspection the right side is pooched and needs to be replaced. But not till i;m done hauling my firewood. It sounds pretty cool tho haha

I'm going to try my hand a building some custom rods for myself. I will build rods for the nephews and neices at first, then for myself and some buddies when I get the hang of it. Speil I will probably be e-mailing you with some questions if it's okay with you.

Ice fishing/Ski family trip end of December

Also check out the Mount St.Marie area. -
If I'm using live minnows on a jig for walleye, I put the hook point throuhg the mouth and out the gill slit. Slide the minnow up the shaft of the hook and put the point through the back at the dorsal fin. This helps keep your bait on better for them light biters that are just grabbing your bait by the tail.
