I've often said when fishing early morning that a floating "Tim Horton's" that operated from sunrise til about 11am would be a sure money winner! LOL If business was "slow", you could jig for fish

Just in from the Quinte trip and saw this thread. Hope you had a great birthday Lew!!

Was slow for our group too, but fish boated every day.....one got a 12+ pounder....fishnsled to post later Winds were high but changed a lot during the day even though it wasn't forecasted to. By Sat evening there was no wind to speak of for 2 hours. This morning winds were 40km/h but by noon it dropped so it was quite fishable.

WOW!! Monster fish!!! I just went to the ofah weight caluclator...and a 54" muskie would need have a girth of 34" to weigh in at 69 pounds. Either way, it was a fish of a lifetime!

Weather permitting Will, we'll be out there for one last stab at them!

No chance at that HH. All good here Oh...and to add one more...I never eat fish the day before a trip. You never know if the fish you are catching can "smell" fish death on your breath and stay away...LOL.

Just because fish aren't caught with you there, doesn't mean I'm the problem. Caught fish just fine with Lloyd last year...LOL. I tend to blame the guide I'm out with if nothing is caught And there are no naked critters ever...striped maybe...

I was reading the last cast thread and realized that when I am shore fishing, I always say "last cast" out loud. When I'm in a boat fishing, I always take a picture of the first fish caught....no matter what species or how small it is... Do you have any superstitions or rituals you do when fishing to bring you luck? Let's hear them!
