Wow...I had a similar experience landing at Pearson....not as extreme, but enough to make the old heart stop for a second and then resume beating at 160 beats per minute! Same thing...crosswind...I could see we were not parallel to the runway... The plane sways back and forth across the runway, feels about 20 feet off the ground.... The left wheels hit the ground (we are on an angle)....waiting what seemed like forever for the right wheels to make contact...in reality it was probably about 15 or 20 seconds. The cabin became completely quiet...I think we were all even holding our breath. It's not until we taxi at a slow speed that people start to murmur again. I look at the guy across the aisle from me and he says "I've flown hundreds of time...THAT was interesting".

I've never eaten smelt or crappie before, but with names like those, no wonder some people wont try them...LOL. I may have already tried them if they were called "yummy" and "tasty". Great report Jen! Good to see you still getting out there when you can.

I ended up tied for 4th for walleye and tied for 4th for carp. Bly missed out on this years list by a mere half inch for walleye.

I hear you! I remember seeing him live many times back in the early 90s. He accomplished so much in his short life. The fact that he lived as long as he did was amazing in itself, as this disease rears its ugly head over and over again. Jeff will be missed by me...I remember hearing his version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps....it's what inspired me to improve my guitar playing skills.

Yeah...I've been dabbling in it for a few years now...using my band as guinea pigs! With me it's all in the the prep work...getting the right levels before recording is key! I dont have drum mics, so I use a 4 mic setup for them...bass drum, snare/hi hat/overhead left and overhead right. It'll take me on average about 45 minutes to to get mic placement and levels for them....so that means little editing for drums. You are right as far as most bands are concerned. I sing all our recorded vocal tracks, but we have someone who does back up vocals when we play live.

Hey Bill, this was all done digitally on my computer. I used to use those 4 and 8 track tapes...but they are too much of a pain in the butt for me. I use a free program called Audacity...can record up to 256 tracks and mix them all together...been perfect for me! Thanks....not perfect..but good enough for rock and roll....haha.

I could always reshoot the video!! LOL.
