  1. Thanks for the update on the surgery! I'm happy to hear that things went well. Leah is a great person...she and Bly waste hours at a time chatting on the phone. How she ended up with Wayne is a big mystery, but hey, to each their own....hehe.
  2. And long term memory....so why the heck are they caught over and over and over again? I target only the dumb fish whose opposable fins are not working....the ones who are a detriment to the fish society as a whole. That way the strong shall survive and not cause all the overpopulation and bad genetic breeding that leads to higher fish taxes for health care and unemployment. I think we'd do them a favour if we all change to this tactic.
  3. Thanks Sean...I took a look and I agree...nothing I MUST have. I think it's a good thing that BPS is a good hour drive from home...I'd be broke if I lived within 15 minutes!!!
  4. Wow Joey!! If you have waited too long you may have heard a WHOOSH as a part of the ceiling gave way to all the weight instead of just the drip drip! I hope he gets it all taken care of quickly...at least he came over and is doing something about it!! See you on Saturday!
  5. Great tune Glen!
  6. Unbelievable pics!!!! Wow...that's all I can say is WOW!
  7. I know I dont take the best pics, but I thought I'd start a thread in the photography section on the lunar eclipse. My camera is a Nikon Coolpix point and shoot with 10X optical zoom. I only had one shot turn out...the first in this series. My 15 year old daughter has a natural eye and is more tech savvy than I...the rest of the pics are hers. The last shot is my daughter's fav...she captured the man in the moon....only he's wearing sunglasses she said I'm looking forward to other pics on here from people who know what they are actually doing!!
  8. Here's her favourite....she was pretty excited that she had a pic of the "man in the moon". She said he was wearing sunglasses...LOL
  9. Here's a series of shots from a Nikon Coolpix Camera (point and shoot) with 10X optical zoom. I wish that it didn't have auto focus...oh well. My daughter took most of the good ones...the only one that turned out for me was the first in this series. The rest were the result of her playing around with settings. She did a great job considering the camera!
  10. Hmmm....I got all excited...looked outside and all I saw was snow. Good to see it's coming though....but I cant get too excited as Toronto is under an extreme cold alert tonite....LOL.
  11. LOL Bernie...details details.... I guess what I meant to say is that it's a total lunar eclipse instead of partial....yeah that's it....
  12. Wulff....welcome to the board and let me tell you...that is one amazing shot of the moon!! Looking forward to seeing your shots from tonight. Where are you located? I know for me (GTA) it's looking to be a pretty good moon viewing night. I remember one year for the Leonid meteor shower, I was all pumped to see it. I remember waking up at 330am, walking like a zombie to get my coffee...heading to the patio door in a daze and walked outside. I couldn't see 20 feet in front of me the fog was so thick. I turned around, dumped my coffee and went back to bed....LOL.
  13. Good call Weeds. Looking forward to some great pics from the talented group here on OFC! Don't miss this one folks...it's the last one until 2010...and this coming on a full moon...should be a real treat.
  14. Ok...I believe I was wrong in the first post...apparently the eclipse is tonight! I guess the date gets messed up when the eclipse goes past midnight....depends on how each news agency decides to spin it.
  15. Uh oh.... We need spring bad..... You forgot to mention trib fishing pics and photoshopping of backgrounds....LOL
  16. You have our phone numbers Wayne....give us a shout if you need anything! Hope all goes well today.
  17. LOL...first thing that came to mind was it was a movie shoot with someone recording it with a cell phone. Pretty hilarious either way though.
  18. I just showed my 5 yr old this video...she laughed and laughed...and then promptly said "They were bad...they shouldn't get a treat later" LOL
  19. Great shots Will! Love that last one!
  20. Awesome ideas here! I'll have to keep them in mind.
  21. Love these clips. Doesn't matter to me if they are staged or not....I think most of us, at one time or another has wanted to do what some of these people did....LOL.
  22. When it comes right down to it, companies get away with these higher prices because people continue to buy them at those prices. Sure, some people are making conscious decisions to buy from the US to get the price break, but the majority of people do not do this. Unless the price difference is causing a significant impact to sales, then prices will remain higher...depsite the high Canadian dollar.
  23. So, with the last total lunar eclipse until 2010 coming this Thursday, who is going to be out there taking photographs? I've seen lots of great photos on here and I am looking forward to see what the membership here can come up with. I seem to remember some great shots from Dan last year...let's hope the weather cooperates!
  24. Great report! I gotta get my butt to Scugog for some ice fishing. Nice pics and writeup...thanks for taking the time to post!
  25. Call your local tackle shop...they may be able to help you out with a repair. If they cant do them onsite, then they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
