  2. Specs? Pics?
  3. Live update... It's snowing like CRAZY here right now....LOL. Here's the view from my front door....
  4. LOL...yep...that's what I do. I believe that we appreciate spring and summer more because of the winters we go through.
  5. LOL Glen.... Still not as bad as here...we just had a 2 hour break from the snow...started snowing again. Later today we are supposed to have blizzard conditions (by US Standards...Ontario's Blizzard standard means it must be -25C with the windchill...we wont have that). Projections are over a foot of snow still to come. Bly has cancelled her trip to Michigan....she was supposed to drive there today with our oldest. Still though...good to see the snow all the way down there....haha.
  6. Hmm....you got a pic of yourself that makes you look like a total fool? TJ may just feel sorry for you if you post it....LOL And yes...it is worth a shot.
  7. Wow...very sorry to hear this news! I hope your little kitty fully recovers!!
  8. Dont forget your GPS or compass! Good luck out there guys!
  9. I've heard Scott called a lot of things...but beautiful isn't one of them...LOL.
  10. Great report Grant!!! Yet another pike war wound! I still have a scar from one I got over a year ago...mind you at least mine was from the fish itself instead of my own lure...LOL. It's great seeing more soft water reports....all these ice reports, although great, were starting to depress me....haha.
  11. I heard great things about Salty as well, so I picked up a few this winter....cant wait to mount them on the boat!
  12. Oh sure...you go out and catch more fish today than I have ever caught TOTAL....LOL. Great job Scott! We'll have to get out soon!!!
  13. GO transit? You're kidding right? LOL. You are right though UA...there are alternatives. I usually take the GO when there is bad weather, and the on time rate plummets to around 50% during rush hour...If you have a flexible manager who doesn't mind you being late, then all the better. The problem is that it's more expensive for me to take the GO and TTC than it is to drive, even when you consider the price of gas, parking and wear and tear on my vehicle. Also, in good weather, it takes me longer to take public transportation.
  14. I can offer tips on catching them from shore, but from a boat I'm in the same situation as you. Let me know and I can PM you some info. Oh yeah...my stuff is all night fishing too.
  15. You are simply on FIRE this ice season!!! They should have cut their losses and just filmed you fishing....LOL. Great job...great story...and above all, great fish!!!
  16. It looks to me that it's putting money IN her purse..... Great pic!
  17. Hey Glen...great pictures! I can now picture your outings better. I was going to ask for the GPS coordinates, but I dont think that's necessary now....LOL.
  18. I have no shame.... I will donate the tickets to the next person who posts a pic...LOL
  19. They are only asking that lights go out...you can still watch the hockey game....LOL.
  20. Conserving energy and reducing the stress on the power grid is in many people's best interest. I do not want to make this a global warming debate, but rather simply ask if anyone has heard of this and how many are planning on participating. Here's a little background.... (taken from http://www.earthhour.org/about) "On 31 March 2007, 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights for one hour - Earth Hour. This massive collective effort reduced Sydney's energy consumption by 10.2% for one hour, which is the equivalent effect of taking 48,000 cars off the road for a year. With Sydney icons like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House turning their lights off, and unique events such as weddings by candlelight, the world took notice. Inspired by the collective effort of millions of Sydneysiders, many major global cities are joining Earth Hour in 2008, turning a symbolic event into a global movement" So, what do you think about Earth Hour? My office is participating in this event...and our family will also participate at home.
  21. I didn't say "can't"...I said "didn't"....two completely different things....LOL
  22. Congrats on 25 years! It's a great accomplishment...shows your dedication and speaks volumes to what kind of person you are. Enjoy!
  23. Will...great report and pics! Guess the fishing without a hat thing was blown right out of the water...LOL. Congrats to HH on his first!! and congrats to all of you on a great day on the water. Like I said in Joey's thread....seeing all these great non perch ice fishing threads almost makes me want to ice fish more.......almost.......
  24. What a great report! Congrats Joey (yeah, and Tybo too). Sounded like a very eventful and fun day. Catching a fish by hand...that would have been a sight to see! Your reports this winter almost makes me want to ice fish more....almost.....LOL Great job out there...thanks for yet another great report.
