Hey Lew, That is a Mammatus cloud type I believe. They are pretty cool looking! Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mammatus) Mammatus (also known as mammatocumulus, meaning "bumpy clouds)is a meteorological term applied to a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud. The name "mammatus" is derived from the Latin mamma (breast), due to the resemblance between the shape of these clouds and human female breasts.

Yep...you've taken the first step towards addiction by registering on this site....

I have this beauty of a boat....LOL This is my first boat, bought last fall....only had her out twice before she was winterized. It's just a 14 foot tinny, with an 18hp Merc, but I'm looking forward to hitting Kawartha lakes this upcoming season to hunt down some bass, walleye, and maybe some muskie. I'm not brave enough to take this out on the big lake for Salmon, but it'll be a great starter boat for bly and I. It's not much, nothing compared to your setup, but it's a start!

Come on...TJ isn't smart enough (buy Jumlas) for that is he? I mean, after all (buy Jumlas), he's just a northern hick who (buy Jumlas) has nothing better to do with his time (buy Jumlas) than run a fishing network. I for one (buy Jumlas) don't believe a word of that. He wouldn't insert messages (buy Jumlas) like that would he? For some reason I feel the need to check out Avery's website to buy some Jumlas.....

Great introduction Slashopper! Sounds like you have a great family there!! A very accomplished taekwando champion...and a daughter in a great university! (I'm a Western Alumni...LOL). It's great to have a supportive wife as well. My wife, Bly on the board, has the fishing bug as much as I do...and she regularly outfishes me too, so we get out a few hundred times a year. Rainbows on the Maitland...I'd love to head there one day. Anyhow, welcome to the board...hope you enjoy your stay here!

One thing I didn't know is that I don't have the attention span to read all of those....LOL. Great list Dan...I'll read the rest tomorrow...and the next day...and the next day....

Awesome report Scott!! Little C must have been one happy guy today. Great to see you spending so much time with him...and getting shown up once in a while...after all, someone has to do it...LOL. Warm weather and rain coming....do I smell a trib report soon????

Hey there! Welcome to the board...glad you finally decided to post that intro. Looking forward to those musky pics...the big ones from the past and the ones from this upcoming season. Pull up a chair...beware though...you may be on here more than you planned....

OOS fish pics? Tiller/console? Walleye/Pickeral? Photoshop? Snagging fish? Or do ya have a new one??

Wow...could have been a lot worse Cliff! Glad to see so many people making sure you were ok and stayed with you through the process. So are you hoping for a new vehicle??????

Hmmm...I chose hours...only because of work though...it's just to handy to log in...LOL. At home, I don't check nearly as often...that's why Monday to Friday I post the most...and barely at all on the weekends. I see it more like checking to see how family is doing...mind you, I don't keep in touch with them as much as I log in here though. I wonder if their phone numbers are up to date in my address book.... Think I need an intervention....is there a support group out there?? And don't say OFC Chat....LOL.

Thanks for the heads up Roy. I remember a thread a while ago about the intelligent charger having problems, so I didn't get that one and went with the Nautilus instead. I check mine every month since it's been in storage for the winter....it always starts at 10amps, then switches to 2amps after about 10 seconds then says the battery is charged. The real test will be charging a spent battery and making sure it switches over.

There are fishing shows on TV?

Hats off to everyone for making this contentious issue a positive one!

Can't say that ever entered my mind Glen.

Low water levels caused by St. Clair leak says speaker
ccmtcanada replied to Spiel's topic in Fishing News
Hey Glen, here's an article about it from the Toronto Star.... http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...0815?hub=Canada I saw many articles saying that there is a drain hole, but no mention of an underground river. They seem to point towards the dredging has caused the flow rate to increase dramatically from Huron to Erie. By dredging, it increased the speed at which the water is moving, and the bottom is eroding more and more because of it, making the problem worse as time goes by. In some places, the 30 ft they dredged is now up to 60 feet. -
This is a fishing forum? Ahh man, I wondered why I'd see pics of fish all the time. I got lost somewhere on the information superhighway looking for an aquarium maintenance forum.

Hey Anton, Welcome to the board. I lurked for about a little while too before I decided to register....and came to the same conclusion that you did after visiting a bunch of other fishing messageboards. Stick around...it's a great place to waste away your day at the office....ummm...I mean occupy your non fishing time. Cliff

WOO HOO!!! Awesome Joey! Congrats!

I have the Nautilus deep cycle charger from CTC. It starts out at 10amps and then automatically switches to 2amp charge to finish if off.

LOL...welcome to the board! I had to dig out my boat from the driveway before I could move it inside as well...not a fun chore, but it's all good now. Congrats on the new Lund! Maybe I'll get a nice boat like that in oh....10 years or so....in the meantime, this one will have to do. We just bought it used last fall...only had it out two times. Looking forward to working on it and getting a full year of fishing in! -
LOL...we're going to need someone who knows where to fish in a boat....and it may as well be you Will....
