I just dropped by Pete Petererson. Water is fine...they were loading a 30 foot cruiser and the dock is still in. Parking is for Midland Residents with permit stickers only..but this is usually due to lack of space in summer. Don't imagine anyone is checking this time of year and I know Tinbanger even parked in the "no parking with trailers beyond this point" area last year without incident. If you are worried...it is totally legal to go out and park on the side of Sunnyside Drive on the wide East dirt shoulder after you have launched your boat. There aren't any no parking signs along there.

Not what I was looking forward to for the next 4 days. It was to be sunny...now they change the weather to show rain right thru to Saturday. Break out the Gortex...I'm headin North.

Ahhh... adventures in Temagami. Can't beat them and I hope the "sprinkler system" is done, as I'm headin that way late tomorrow, early Wednesday! lol

I'm just gonna play the devils advocate here and say I wouldn't be too impressed if I was living in a tent...had no fridge/cooler and someone let my supper go.... that I was keeping fresh for the day end meal. No different than someone letting your stringer of Pickeral go, that you've left on the back of your boat while you go to get the cutting board, etc all ready.

She's getting a ride from her BF's Aunt..so I can head North instead Bud! If I was going ...the truck may just not stop in Ottawa and I'd probably just throw her out at Bronson while doing about 110 on the 417 for Montreal! LOL Hope you got your lips around a thigh or two yourself this weekend and went easy on the AD.

Welcome aboard Scott ! Many here from your neck of the woods and if you do some "Toronto Harbour" or similar searches in the search box you'll find some threads there about the Lake O water front.

I'm with Doug on the brand...but I always had a thing for Tammy Fay......... Now if I'd lost that one Rick is showing in Grey Owl lake...I'd still be swimmin around up there lookin for it!

Steve...we got tired of buying mid price to expensive DVD players and having them go South....and 4 years or so ago bought a $49 Malata at Future Shop that's smaller than an answering machine...so takes no space in the TV rack. Works as good, or better than our last $500 pioneer!

LOL Mike ! I've got closing down pat. I replumbed the whole place so everything is down hill to a low spot drain - hot and cold - so while that's doin it's thing I go around and pick up all Leah's solar lights, drawbridge and tie off our floater docks and then put the air compressor on the outside tap and blow out the pipes for good measure. Just hate that "it's all over" feeling as I pull away in the boat!

You are one lucky man TJ. I've said it to you before...what was she thinking when she grabbed you! Is that when you lie on your back pretending you're a baby...crying....hoping "mommie" attends to your needs?

I have three of them "depressors" JJ...now 24/22 and 19 and fishing with me since they were in diapers. They still outfish me to this day....get use to it ! LOL

If that's a 12' cartopper..ie 48 " or so Transom... then 7 HP is plenty. We could flip our 12' Springbok with an 8HP Merc by cranking the engine tight in a turn (f-in-law still has the prop scare on his leg to prove it) and the 12' Reynolds that I have at the lake you have to be REALLY careful with the 9.8 merc we have on it.

Will do Maureen. When/if I get it I'll go into the plant and sit down with our GM to see if it's up our alley. If not I'll shred or return everything she's sent. If there is assembly work in the design/final product I'll go over it with Leah and see what she can do on that end as well.

If I had my boat home I'd be out there, on GBay, today and tomorrow..and tomorrow after that ! We had our Thankgiving muskie yesterday... to work our kids schedules in.
