  1. 275 Horsepower and quiet as a mouse at full power....
  2. I'm gonna go against the grain here and say fog it no matter where you put it. Heated areas still go thru humidity cycles and the inside of your engine can look like a tropical rain forest at times from condensation. I've had guys buy freshly overhauled aircraft engines and then store them in their heated shops/basements etc for 6 months or so before they are ready to install. By the time they get their bird in the air the camshaft has rusted..as have all the throws on the crank etc. This pitting destroys their lifters and the cam and within 20 hours the engine is back in the shop for major work and they try to tell me it's my fault or the engine shops fault. For what a can of fogging oil costs......
  3. Yah...maybe you need 19 ! Maybe just 2 each..just the way TJ said... 10 sets of tickets to these people...would infer you get 20 each !
  4. Do you have 10 friends Brian? ...that can be sick on a Monday ?
  5. Thanks for puttin it together Bud !
  6. You only need flares in a 6+ meter boat if you are more than a mile from shore. Peter is just very cautious when it comes to these things..and yes I have a gun and flares in my glove box Peter ! LOL You won't be more than a mile from shore on the Reach.
  7. I wasn't joking Emil..wall if you are lucky is a 2 x 6 construction and since the studs are 5 1/2 inches + 1/2 drywall...that might give you what you need... or even build a box in the wall for the motor. As for blocking the boat...did that every year with our full cabin 26' Tempest. Not something I'd want to try in a tight garage.
  8. Congrats on the successful hunt Tito...the family will be well fed this winter. Now out to the shop to build me one of them mouse traps for the hangar!
  9. Make a hole in the wall for the prop !
  10. The very first link that came up on my name.. guess I'm had... http://www.murphyair.com/complete/WOShea.htm
  11. All right then...my 2150 goes 80.2 miles an hour.... according to the piece of junk Lowrance speed sensor paddle wheel on the back of my boat, when we were motoring to change spots Monday! While at the same time the paddle wheel right beside it for the Merc smartcraft gauge was showing 50 and the GPS showed 52.7
  12. All I have for pets right now..
  13. Hey don't let me stop you... I'm not a mod of this madness...nor do I wish to be !
  14. Nice shot! I think I'd have a rope tied around my waste...hooked to the nearest tree. LOL
  15. Political threads aren't allowed on this forum..as matter of fact.
  16. Specktacklure...oh I mean Evinrude dude... Nobody swayed me to go Merc...I owned a 2003 BRP product before it. Didn't start worth a poop and got tired of filling the oil container. As for why we looked in on this thread...wanted to see how much of a problem he had since he stated NEED HELP with his Etec. So do the 9 BRP owners that had brand new 2007 motors blow their power heads this year on Lake Temagami!
  17. Finally...an honest BRP owner.............. with one that hasn't blown up yet.
  18. If you stop learning Maureen...the whole thing is pointless !
  19. Some nice fish there. Gotta tell Tim he's gotta stop crossing his arms....
  20. Nice stuff Badger...those waves make me reminise of our Friday in Novemeber last year...but it was at the freezing mark and raining/sleeting + the wind. Not a big deal when you're not getting skunked!
  21. I'm still glad I went with a 4 stroke and not choking fumes on the downwind troll..but depending on how much you use your boat, your fuel savings could be offset... as remember 4 strokes need an oil and filter change each season. That's $150 +labour on my Verado it takes 7 litres of oil that's $49.99 / 3.78 litre jug, an oil filter and a quart of lower end unit fluid. A 40 HP isn't gonna cost that much...but it's still a litre or two of oil and a filter. My 25 Honda costs me about $90 to have the oil/filter/lower unit/winterize each fall when I leave it for the marina to store away...compared to a 2 stroke that would need nothing but the $12 or so of lower end unit oil and a quick fog of the cylinders.
  22. I wrote it down somewhere Dave...can't seem to find it right now... LOL
  23. Great report David and some nice fish!! 22 days and counting for me....
  24. Yah I hear ya Lew ! I did intend to go over/around the hump...but it wasn't to be as shallow as it was. We came back and casted the spot a few hours later...but nothing but the little perch snacks the muskie was munchin on.
