  1. LOL and it already has a recall !
  2. Yah,, thought it was gone, but I guess we were still using the old OFC link and it was autodirecting. Resave the properties of ontariofishingcommunity.com
  3. BTW Chris, 1.5 hour feeding schedule at night. Is she doing the same thing all day as well?? If not it's a soothing thing, not a food thing.
  4. Wife have enough milk production, as to what Gerritt is allotting to. First kid? Sometimes you just have to put the pillow over your head and let them cry, seems like right now he has you guys pretty much trained.
  5. Not sure the current health regulations, but my old man couldn't legally do a deer in the shop with beef hanging in the locker.
  6. Nope, just my own property. My 40 acres and what is now the son's next doors 80. About 55 out of the 120 acres is all hardwood to selectively harvest. Do you know what current board foot prices are on sawlog and veneer, for defect free Red Oak and Maple?
  7. Water is back to normal median on GBay, so no need for docks at launch. Midland has a board walk beside the launch and with that said as of Wednesday the dock beside it was still in. You are in need of a parking permit if you have a trailer though, but not sure anyone actually checks this time of year.
  8. You drive me nuts some days Bunker... guess I'd better get my in gear one day and fly out to visit my buddy that has a cottage on Harrison Lake!
  9. Rodbender brought it up this time Roy! I never go to work on November 11th and my plastics plant was never open during daylight that day either. Employees present at the cenotaph got paid for the day, the others I could care less.
  10. My last commercial harvest was 12 years ago, when I let a guy come in for 2 days and when he left I had a cheque for $28,000 in my hand for less than 70 trees. Red oak was $7.50/board foot and my Maples were $8.50. Based on lumber prices I can only imagine what current board foot prices are and I am trying to clean up some neglected bush that I haven't had time for the past 6 years to cash in on that. Most of my Red Oaks are at least 90 feet to the first limb!
  11. Nice !!! If you haven't spent most of your life cutting your own wood, most wouldn't understand the difference between firewood and sawlog / veneer ! In many cases my Red Oak's grow in triples and one has to come down for firewood to allow the other two to become valuable veneer trees. Working on that the past 4 days.
  12. This is what you're after, I first posted this many years ago.
  13. Yah.. well.. you enjoy that Dave, water temp on Georgian Bay in open water 53.7F today. Outside temperature 20C !
  14. November 4th and I don't need a coat tomorrow to go Musky fishing... somethings wrong with this picture. I usually have the skis on the airplane by now!

You can thank MR. ELNINO. ;0)

  15. Walk into BPS or Sail and see what they have on the shelf. You might be surprised that you don't have to advertise their "brand" all over Ontario and walk out with a full Gortex suit for $500. Leah and I did just that a few years back, $250 / pc x two coats and two pants for a total of a grand. Haven't been wet in the boat since. I'd never expect a proper fit ordering on line. Throw on a sweater and hit a store.
  16. I still have a box full of those auto water sense flashers if anyone is interested. Sad deal all around for this fellow and his family.
  17. Yah I was going to say Jamie's been AWOL for some time!
  18. They are this week @ 1/2 price for the mastercraft brand. $47.99 for the 3/8 drive and $49.99 for 1/2". Buy them both for the price of one and you can do your own tires as well. I have them both and they're a nice "click" when you hit the setting. Also a ratchet head as a bonus.
  19. Is that anything like Lebanese blonde?
  20. Yes.. careless driving G.
  21. Kinda like drinking in Canada. There's no need to consume Moonshine, unless you go to a Lakair G2G !
  22. Probably delayed winter for everyone! I got the oil furnace and water heater all cleaned out and inspected, as well as their venters, and all the firewood moved in for the house fireplaces and shop woodstove. Should be 15C next week now.... :0)

  23. Can't say I ever sat on the couch stuffing Doritos in my mouth either... oh, but there was this one time at band camp! Everyone's human and entitled to their own opinions. Having friends that are still alive because they shrunk "non-operable" tumours by ingesting oil, and a daughter that fought to the end not doing so and me always thinking "what if she had" will haunt me for the rest of my life. One indication of the medical swing would have been Leah asking Jen's Oncologist about a script for pot and him saying to Leah " be a good Mom, don't buy that crap from Health Canada and go out on Yonge St and buy her some good stuff".
  24. No daily Tylenol, Aleve, etc. for muscle or back pain? That off the shelf bottle has more side effects than what is about to be legal for all, without the need for a medical script.
  25. LOL.. figured he was some dumb ass from the city and wouldn't blink at the cost! WRONG!
