  1. Red Oak, Hard Maple and some Birch. About 3 bush cords worth. If the weather will cooperate looks like we'll double this up before winter.
  2. Oak "sheds" to date, dry and ready to burn. 6' high x 32' long. 2 bush cords
  3. apparently 80 bucks Brian.
  4. I don't know B.. he doesn't have patience to troll GBay for Musky, I don't have the patience for arrogance when someone asks but doesn't want to listen to advise.
  5. Have fun Mike..
  6. Maybe they'll send you the parts gracious!
  7. We had about an hour of 1/4" to 3/8" ice balls, then a bit of snow and then I hit the bush to cut some more wood for the last 3 hours of daylight today. Hope they're wrong tomorrow and Sunday as well !
  8. Possible they cracked the ears putting it back together and a bit of extra umph made them show up. I'd be trying to get them to come good for overtorquing the flange bolts.
  9. Didn't you just have that serviced for the power head? Will they fix that too under warrantee? Aggressive reverse or you hit something?
  10. Verado has the same thing, or similar. Coarse filter (before the fuel rail fine filter) and it's also a water separator, complete with monitor contacts and the smartcraft gauges will display water is detected. I disassemble, drain canister and change this filter every year. 30 bucks well spent. As for water and cracks... as long as you get good gas, tank filler lid is closed, probably not a big chance of having enough water in there to do any damage if you neglect it.
  11. GF has a good paying job correct??
  12. Some day you should stop taking stuff so literal Mister G, you'll live longer! Yah, you can probably buy a cartridge thru hull pump for 50 bucks. Consider what it's going to cost you when your boat is down to the water line while tied to the cottage dock. Then finding a gas powered water pump to get the boat floating again and what in it's contents has been ruined by going to "level floatation". Let alone trying to figure out why it sunk in the first place. All prevented with $3 worth of plumbing antifreeze.
  13. Funny we're on Neil tonight.. my brother flew his last commercial flight before retirement today. I posted this to his Fbook page.. there "comes a time".
  14. The parents buying Christmas presents at the flee market, supplied by the theft. Other than that... still a good month of open water out there. Musky doesn't close 'til the 15th of DECEMBER !
  15. Cheney and Rumsfeld say thank you!
  16. They started with the Breeze in 1995 or so. That auto drive has worked flawless and still does, with ZERO maintenance!
  17. Well when your $350 thru hull pump splits in half and your boat sinks, don't call me.
  18. Why I cancelled Thursday and Friday fishing. Leah and I have been busting our butts, until we can't stand up, getting our firewood out of the bush and piled before it's lost in the mess. Figure we have two more 8 hour days, just to get everything that I have cut and split on the ground loaded / out of the bush and piled. I'm just hoping they're very wrong... .... just looked at weather. It shows no accum for Friday, less than 1cm Sat and 1 to 3 on Sunday (for Midland anyhow!)
  19. I'm pretty cunning...
  20. Time to go look for my shovel, getting pretty deep in here!
  21. I think what the masses are saying Brian, fill the truck... go drive 100 or 200 km and see how many litres you can put into the tank again after the drive and do the math to see what the litres / 100 km says. While I'd love to believe that mileage I, as do others, suspect your flow meter is baffed and if so would get it fixed while under warrantee.
  22. Thanks Kevin, we're hanging in there and just keeping busy fishing, firewood and tinkering on the old cars instead of airplanes. Gives my mind a new path to follow. Yesterday, exact same time (3:50), during the Major, and my Plow disappeared with a snap in open water. Always check for frays... we'll never know how big it was, but it's wearing expensive jewelry unfortunately.
  23. I think his computer has a malfucktion myself!
