  2. ..and people laugh at me fishing Lakers with a 10" musky tube!
  3. GREAT fish Greg!! I can truly relate to that beast.. I'd swear you'd photoshopped yourself onto my fish from last Sunday!
  4. Leave the JB in the store! 3M5200 or Sikaflex 1A
  5. Job for Rod Caster there!!! 200 gallons of Kerosene and soil to remediate!! In Ontario.. the event would be over even without the fire. Did anything break.. or did Juan just do his usual and screw up. Accelerate, caught apron grove and spun out.. UNDER CAUTION!
  6. ..and I'm pretty sure I read something very recently that they are trying to make the Silver a protected species!
  7. What about the date Brian.. same CO's are still there and working (and the law/their attitude hasn't changed).. talked to two of them personally last Sunday.
  8. I'll jump in and save some of the nonsense that's gonna start with this thread. This letter to and from the MNR came about with me complaining that OOS fish were being entered in the Temagami Stewardship contest to win a replica mount... which equalled intentional targetting of said fish to send in entries. Photographed.. hung from shack and weighed.... photographed again in the snow beside the rod for the "steelheader" shot. The MNR personnal noted are 2 CO's, a biologist and their supervisor.
  9. Are we gonna have a mortgage burning party... or has that paperwork already been burned?
  10. Wait two days to race and act like idiots... who'd of thought?
  11. 15 times?
  12. Thanks for the larfs Raf!!
  13. The youngest must be coming along great with the Simcoe jig Emil !!
  14. Leaps and bounds! Leah delivered her new shoes last Saturday before heading for Pearson and jumping on a pressurized tin can.... now a 2.5" shoe lift with wider bottom. First pair were toooo tippy and a tad high. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xCmc2Z-FWsE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/K5flf56oNYo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hn7497sEzyk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/v47kOZT3jJM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  15. A man was walking down the street when he was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless man who asked him for a couple of dollars for dinner. The man took out his wallet, extracted ten dollars and asked, "If I give you this money, will you buy some beer with it instead of dinner?" "No, I had to stop drinking years ago," the homeless man replied. "Will you use it to go fishing instead of buying food?" the man asked. "No, I don't waste time fishing," the homeless man said. "I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive." "Will you spend this on green fees at a golf course instead of food?" the man asked. "Are you NUTS!" replied the homeless man. "I haven't played golf in 20 years!" "Will you spend the money on a woman in the red light district instead of food?" the man asked. "What disease would I get for ten lousy bucks?" exclaimed the homeless man. "Well," said the man, "I'm not going to give you the money. Instead, I'm going to take you home for a terrific dinner cooked by my wife." The homeless man was astounded. "Won't your wife be furious with you for doing that? I know I'm dirty and I probably smell pretty disgusting." The man replied, "That's okay. It's important for her to see what a man looks like after he has given up beer, fishing, golf and sex."
  16. There definitely is Paul!
  17. Didn't wanna stick my nose there Dan.. but I know how beat he was just getting to Temagami last year. Watching Jen fight a 1.75 hour drive from TO to home everytime during treatment was no fun for anyone.. her especially and I'd hate to see you get all the way up there by driving and have Morris so beat he just crashes in the cabin.
  18. St. Marys River - from the gates of the Compensating Works downstream to longitude 83°45’W. which extends from Eagle Point (Hay Bay) south to the international boundary with the United States. Two lines may be used when trolling from a boat in open water. Walleye open from Jan. 1 - last day in Feb. & May 15 - Dec. 31. Walleye S - 4 and C -2, any size. Northern pike - any size. In Zone 13 you can possess 6 fish on a sport licence.
  19. Not a big chance of AC or WJ getting grounded by weather Dan. Instrument approaches at both ends of the trip to Thunder Bay. Into Eddies camp could be another story. Your brother's not up for that drive Dan, but you know that or you wouldn't be askin.
  20. Steve... 3 hours from Orillia will put you in Finlayson PPark in Temagami. Hydro sites.. good cement launch.. your own dock ($3 a day I think) and I should be right across the channel if you want a tour guide.
  21. Apparently there is also a boat show in Hamilton this weekend. I only know this as the "New" Naden boat will be represented at it. If you're in the area, drop in and tell Andre' that I sent you. I know we made the first, unpainted, boat last Thursday.. not sure what will be at the show... in booth #194
  22. Just be REAL careful where those locals are really taking you in Jamaica...
  23. .. and yes the Mitchell's will take you around the Matawabika Dam on their multi bunk trailer for minimal coin.
