  1. Did they throw it out because the JP/Judge sided with you... or the cop didn't show up?
  2. The walk back up the hill from the Falls to the Hilton was enough for me last Wednesday night!! You can go into Fallsview and have O'Bannon as your pit boss!
  3. No need to upgrade the wire if it was proper size to begin with. A 24v motor, of the same thrust rating, will draw half the amperage of the old 12volt motor... so you could go 24V and double the thrust of what you had previously and the wire would be just fine.
  4. As DanD pointed out for injected engines.. could be an issue if you get water, but I guess that's why all the Verados have a seperator built in on the motors. No need for a second one on the boat itself... and I haven't found a drop of water in my motors seperator since it went into operation in 2007.
  5. Mermaid is still on my list, but I have had a real good "bow ornament" for 30 years or so!
  6. Nice stuff Richard... is the ski bike for sale!! lol
  7. I'd drive futher than 2 hours for a ........ .. Just sayin...
  8. If you wanna spend the money.. go for it, it can't hurt anything but your wallet. Any correctly installed fuel suction pipe shouldn't be sucking any water off the bottom of the tank anyhow unless they have GALLONS of water in the bottom of the tank. But I guess in todays market.. if they can sell water at $1.28/litre.. why the hell not. Anyone dipping storage tanks for quantity should be able to detect H2O on the stick!
  9. Gee.. and I tried to tell people the E-Tecs were blowing up in 2007 /2008 and everyone said I was full of .... Bombardier builds airplanes and trains.... BRP builds recreational products. BRP was created in 2003.. and sold.. and sold again in 2004 to Camoplast. Sold is probably a farse.. side shuffle a more fitting description.
  10. 40+ years of boating and 23 years of flying.. and I've never found a DROP of water in my fuel. If you don't have a fuel tank that you leave floating in the bottom of your tinny.. or a loose filler cap... absolutely no need for a water seperator if you're buying good fuel to begin with.
  11. Will Brian not hand you a new rod right there in the store? A "cheap" 25 bucks if that's the case... as you know the new one coming in will arrive broken by mail!
  12. Yep.. they are a great item Ernie!! .. and todays CTC item that saved me a lot of time was their multi size ratchet wrenches. Made a wing removal and aircraft dismantle, in the middle of a forest today, painless !
  13. Dalrymple opening in both directions by the road the splits the lakes there. Balsam.. the entire trent channel is open from Kirkfield to Balsam as best I could see. Channel is opening below the Kirkfield lift locks. Just happened to be across there to Coboconk today to recover an airplane that played with a tree!
  14. Pool is still solid.. yard is not.. buried the truck to the axle getting my 34' float trailer out today.
  15. Great stuff Mike....stuff like this is what makes "hook ups" on the board so great! Congrats on the fish Chris!
  16. Well..she's at it again. Last walk was during Chemo treatment.. this one is gonna be without a hip! Support if you can.. all involved thank you from the bottom of our hearts! https://secure.ccfcfindthecure.ca/ParticipantPage.aspx?PID=18262&L=2&CCID=102&GC=GTv2
  17. What a great shot with the dog standing guard!!! Reminds me of our old Lab that did the same with kids.. no training required! She's a keeper... that's for sure!
  18. Great to see what the fishing is gonna be like tomorrow Steve!! Sure wish I had one of them thar time machines.... (GREAT STUFF!)
  19. Happy Birthday Jack !! And to think Simon.. only 13 more years before he's asking to borrow the car keys (even though he's actually been "borrowing" them for 2 years previous!!)
  20. You'd better have a passport in your pocket as well....
  21. Wish I had pictures of half the stuff we did when we were young and foolish (and indestructible). I stuffed a 318 into the nose of my brother's Volkswagon when he was at University... 9" Ford rear end. I was 14/15 at the time and he was none toooo happy upon his return that summer. I thought I was doing him a favour getting rid of that air cooled thing that never worked.. lol We put a 302 in a pinto, while Jeff's Mother was off on a one week vacation.. with some preplanning / part gathering before she left. 426 hemi in our 1969 Fury II family car when my sister and I took it over from the parents. Made some good money with that sleeper on Carling Ave in Ottawa. 429 in a 70 Mustang, 392 Hemi in a Duster. Then you get older and spend 5 times the money putting everything back to get your concours car back in one piece.. as was the case with my '69 Superbee. #'s matching car, but who cared when you were 18/19 throwing out the bench seat because you wanted it to look cool with buckets. Toss away the original rims for some cool CTC mags and wide tires. In my late 20's I spent a fortune trying to find the original bench seat going junk yard to junk yard, to return it to stock and many other parts that had been removed for the cool factor. Still haven't found the original 14" wheels. Oh.. and Liverelease.. Billy's already seen my bird!!
  22. I don't even plate them anymore Bill... as we're gone all summer. I know.. another waste!
