  1. So I guess when they get word that there are no registered firearms in the house, they don't have to be as cautious because it is well known that criminals and drug dealers all register their guns. They also store them legally too.
  2. I was considering getting a Colorado last summer, but ended up getting a Silverado instead. The fuel consumption is a bit more with the Silverado, but with all the incentives they were offering, they were almost the same price. After test driving the Silverado, I didn't even bother to look at the Colorado. Ended up getting one for 26.5 OTR
  3. for my pontiac vibe, there is enough clearance that i am able to crawl under the car without using the jackstands. I stockup on the oil when they go on sale (5L for $11), so all in it costs me around $17 to do. Walmart charges $30 now so I prefer to do them myself. For the pickup truck though, I'll just take it to the stealership.
  4. Next week I'm leaving for Oahu for 8 days. Other than stuffing my face with BBQ, I would like to do some fishing. There's a small inland reservoir that holds some peacock bass, but if I want some good fishing then I would probably have to charter a boat. Anyone has any experience fishing from shore?
  5. dude, stop convincing people to move to durham, it's gonna make our commutes longer. :thumbsup_anim:
  6. my son is 4.5 and i think he's still too young for martial arts. I think a good age to start is at least 8 years old. I started karate when i was 14, did it for a year and a half, but got bored of it so i went into boxing. Even though I love boxing, I don't think I would encourage my kids to get into boxing though. I think I would put them into Judo, but that's only if they wanted to.
  7. Just give it another month. Once the weather gets really cold, the sky blasters will be gone. My duck hunting season won't start till next month anyways.
  8. my sister and brother in law have a membership, so if i ever feel like buying over priced furniture or appliances, i will just buy it through them.
  9. hey I'll give you $20 CASH for the Fenwick DCC78 cartridge fly reel and Fenwick World Class WF 6 floating fly line. :sarcasm:
  10. oshawa creek would be a good place to start. look for some structure, usually a shopping cart or the occasional dead body. the salmon should be staging down by the pier anytime now.
  11. maybe you can be a Hawaiian BBQ Marinade salesman? Great benefits (free BBQ sauce) but crappy pay! :thumbsup_anim:
  12. check aisle 5 in Loblaws :thumbsup_anim: well not yet, but hopefully one day. We usually sell them at street festivals. Maybe Cliff can be my distributor! don't worry Cliff, more bottles coming your way (as soon as I have time to go fishing again) if only my truck would run on bbq sauce instead of gas! I emailed Big Cliff last spring looking to rent a spot to leave my boat and motor, but since he refused to take my money, the least I could do was give him some of our Hawaiian BBQ Marinade that we sell. I would've brought our skewers, but they were frozen solid. Believe it or not, this past sunday was the 1st time i went fishing in over a year, so sitting on Cliffs docks with my kids and catching sunfish with our ice fishing rods was lots of fun.

  18. catching a sucker is better then staying home and not fishing
  19. nice report. the shwa is always a good place for some unique urban fishing. shopping carts make good structure! lol
