A few months ago, we won the $1000 from the Oshawa This Week draw, and decided to finally upgrade our front door. Our contractor that did a great job on our windows and doors (thanks to another OFC member) is missing in action! I enjoy waterfowl hunting in the fall. Still kind of a noob when it comes to hunting, but learning on your own makes it more challenging and fun at the same time. But I'm not going to let anything stop me! Nothing better than watching the sunrise and calling (or trying in my case) ducks in to your spread.

I have that same one, and I bought it BRAND NEW with oars, and those sponge things to carry them with for $695 (incl tax). That was 6 years ago though. It's pretty heavy for a canoe (fiberglass), but really stable and perfect for fishing.

i like his shore lunches, but seriously i'd rather be out fishing, or doing more important stuff on weekend mornings; rather than watching fishing shows.

bring weedless topwaters and you should be able to nail some bass. theyre starting to get pretty thick near shore now.

good job! i used to fish that area alot, but yeah it gets choked up real fast. i now take the kayak to the north end, more options to fish.

took the kayak to the bog, arrived around 6am tossed topwaters for a while and not one hit switched up to a green/perch coloured spinnerbait, and went to a little deeper water and it was non stop action. as u can see, the bass loved this one today!! landed about 10-14 around this size got a few respectable ones around this size too Switched back to buzzbaits, but the only thing they were taking were my perch colored spinnerbait. So I just continued to use it packed it it around 9am after catching around 16 bass (stopped counting after 10). All in all a good bass opener. Bog was pretty windy, so spent alot of time paddling, and drifting. bass opener... yawn? not for me!!

i got the rapala ones from walmart. costs around $14. no way i would spend more as i always lose them, break them, or scratch them. i also use them as everyday sunglasses.
