It was a chilly one this morn in the Kawarthas for sure. I got up at 5am for work and was thinking of riding the motorbike into Toronto but one step outside sure changed my mind fast.

There's none that I know of on the lake. Best bet would be to camp right at Serpent mounds PP, cheap and you have use of the facilites.

Thanks for posting this. As a Toronto FireFighter we need the support now from the taxpayers in Toronto. They need to phone today and voice there opinions to help us out. With all the media in the last two days I'm sure they will stay but there are lots of groups out there wanting them off the trucks. As fishergirl stated, It's not a statement For or Against the war but a show of support for our Brothers and Sisters over there risking there lives to make the world a better place. They need support from the whole country. Thanks Mike

A buddy of mine had a live well problem after the winter last year. He figures he forgot to blow out the lines before storage and water froze and split them. His was a lot of work also but a lesson learned. Good Luck

I never use a leader on my main rod for walleyes when on fly in but I do keep a bigger rod with me geared up for pike with a wire leader when I feel like throwing for them. Like was said with the stained water it isn't going to make a big difference.

Too bad about the trailer Don. I'll keep my eyes open in my travels.
