  5. Yep. He's shot at least one episode on Esnagi. (although I thought it had been multiple.) He's the reason I've heard of North To Adventures. Here's his newsletter. About half way down, the 1st one under 'Outfitter & Lodge Spotlight' http://www.goingfishingtv.com/newsletter.view.asp?id=11 Love to get up to ANY of those lakes for some C & R! Let's go Solo, let's hit BOTH lakes and report back. You okay to drive?
  6. I think Esnagi Lake is one of Darryl Choronzey's favorite lakes. He's done a number of episodes there. Seemed to be a Walleye factory. FWIW
  7. What if you added a small block of wood to the top of the yoke near the gunwale and cut an angled corner off, creating a slope. Then attached rod holder to the sloped face. Make a corresponding hole in the yoke as well for the rod butt to pass through. See engineered drawing:

  11. Well I can tell you which one was definitely the better looking one Yes, the life of a troubled rod was saved. A rod so troubled in fact that it's tip was broken by an overzealous father-in-law who was checkng the action on a BRAND NEW rod that hasn't even had a reel on it yet!
  12. Good to meet you and Brook today. Thanks for the help. I really didn't think it was as quick & easy as you showed it to be. I'm Hooked
  13. Believe it or not Canadian Tire might be worth a try. The next aisle over from the fishing aisle had quite a few different wake boards and other water towable items. I was actually quite surprised at the selection they had. It was the Burlington store.
  14. I like Picture #2! That's an awsome action shot! It looks like he's hooked an anchor! I'd love to see my son on something like that. Looks like it was a fun day.
  15. It sure was fun with 4 brothers!
  16. Maybe if he was fishing for minnows.
  17. Doesn't he have a little pink trout worm in his pocket he could hang over the side?
  18. Lake Simcoe...along the East-West side, part way between North & South. It's going to be a good list.
  19. What was he thinking taking her along on the 1st place? That's a great ad!
  20. If you want an interesting eye opening view into the "food" industry check out the movie "Food Inc." http://www.foodincmovie.com They get into all areas of agriculture, farming etc. It's quite interesting how many products contain corn. They make reference about how they're even using corn now in feed at fish farms. It's quite a story.
  21. Wow, just read from start to finish. Love seeing the progress. Looks like it'll be a real chick...um, bass magnet!
  22. Well even though it's after the fact, at least SOMETHING is being done. It goes to show the squeeky wheel gets the grease.
