  1. Great day on the water eh! A good way to get the boy into fishing. If you would have gone out yesterday, you would have seen a military search and rescue helicopter flying around the bay.
  2. Welome aboard man!
  3. Outhouse Carp.. ... Never seen one with a mounth. Make sure you keep us posted eh Randy.
  4. That's wicked! Never see that one before.
  5. Some day I'll figure out what the heck your talking about in your posts
  6. Oryx like the bike?? Welcome aboard man!
  7. Thanks for the info Gents. Just measured my transon. 15". I guess I keep searching. If any one knows of a someone selling a 20 or 25hp motor, fire me a PM.
  8. It's going on my duck/fishing boat. No link.
  9. I might have an opportunity to purchase this motor: 2004 Yamaha 20hp Long shaft 2-Stroke The motor is as his cottage, so he can't take the measurements that I need to know. Just wondering if anyone has this motor, and could let me know a few things. 1. The distance from the top of the transom to the center of the prop? 2. How are these motors on gas? 3. Running a light 14' aluminum, what kind of top end speed would I expect? Looking on the Yamaha website, the shaft of the SS is 15", and the shaft on the LS is 20". But I don't know how the shaft length corresponds to the transom dimension I asked about above. Here's a link to the motor - http://www.yamaha-motor.ca/products/products.php?model=3791&section=td&group=O#contentTop I know it's a bit of a long shot, but any help on this would be great. If the dimensions work out, I may drive up the Perrysound and pick it up. Might be able to grab it for $1000 bucks...
  10. That looks incredible. Gunna try that, maybe this week.
  11. At first I thought that was Peewee Herman..
  12. What would they charge for something like that?
  13. When I first bought the reel, I noticed a very very slight noise when I reeled it fast. I should have returned it then. I tinkered with the gears a little more, and got it back together. Not quite as smooth as when it was new.. But good enough for now. Thanks for replies guys!
  14. That's on my bucket list for sure!!
  15. I need some help. I use a Symetre 1000FJ on my ice fishing and walleye rod. After this ice fishing season, I started having issues with it. The reel as started to tighten up. It progressively gets worse until I take it apart, and clean it. After that, it gets a little better, but it never feels like it used to. So this time, I took it right apart. Stripped it right down. Now it's making a grinding noise. I'm sure it's an assembly issue. Has anyone else had their reel tighten up like that? And if so, and tips on how to fix it once and for all.
  16. I got a 40hp Norseman in my garage right now. Pulls over no problem. One arm..
  17. MMmmmmmmmm.. That's mouth watering!! Great read Rich!
  18. That's one bad report!!
  19. You really gotta pick your line in that first video! Cool vids Drifter. Thanks for posting.
  20. Nice Vid.. In my office downstairs, I can clearly hear in to my basement apartment. 5 girls just got back from Barrie's Carib'Fest as I was listening to this video. Their high pitch cackling, combined with the background noise of this video made for quite the experience!
  21. Hey.. I know that spot!
  22. Been in the Wingham hospital a few times. Great bunch of people .. Mighty fine of you to show some appreciation with the cheese platter! Hang in there man. Plenty of fishing left for this season.
  23. Because if Lebarron sells it for $93, Coleman likely builds it for $5 - $10. It aint even worth the guys labour to call the plastics place to enquire about the parts.
  24. Good question! Need to clarify a bit.. Bike = Motorcycle, bicycle, or Quad. I have been wondering the same thing regarding a on/off road dirt bike. I've seen several times up north while grouse hunting, guys riding around with their guns out, no case, riding dirt bikes and quads on the side roads. I don't know how this would work driving up the 400, or Younge street for that matter.
  25. Yeah, the huntin season's sneakin up on us.. Just dropped $120 at crappy tire on skeets and target load! Gunna warm up the shoulder this weekend
