  1. Quite a few camps are already closed for the season; you might want to give them a call just to be sure.
  2. If it means next spring is coming closer, sure, why not get excited for ice?
  3. Good price, not much of a service, except for that delightfully charming lady in the clothing section in Markham location.
  4. I'll say that's about seven times bigger than the dink that I caught this Sunday. Man, was it a tought day for me. Congrats on your PB though!
  5. Like Lew said, that's not a bad day at all. I wish my bad days were like yours!
  6. Man, this brings back a lot of memories!
  7. I wasn't aware of this tragic loss, but like everyone else, I hope you are remembering your son with more fondness than sadness. Be strong, as always.
  8. Moosebunk never fails to deliver; thanks for sharing a great story with us yet again.
  9. This is a lot more costly than I had ever thought.
  10. I haven't carped for almost three months now; thanks for reminding me to give a couple of shots before it's too late!
  11. A bit disturbing if they are see-through. LOL.
  12. Well, that puts a whole new meaning to the phrase, from dust to dust. Definitely not my cup of tea.
  13. 21 inch smallie, that will make by birthday, too!
  14. Putting on some weight, aren't they? Nice fish!
  15. I'll second Roy's recommendation. Go with Curado; you won't regret it. You'll also have to decide on the size of the reel and its gear ratio. Curado 100 is smaller, with 6.2 gear ratio. The 200 series are bigger, with 7.0 gear ratio for DHSV and 5.0 for DPV. I have all three; for what it's worth, I like the 100 series for its lighter weight, smaller profile, and mid-range gear ratio. The 200 series gives you more line capacity, and with DHSV, you can burn spinnerbaits and spend less time cranking back your lure, so it's another good choice. I wouldn't opt for DPV as an all-around reel though, as it takes forever to crank back the lure; good for pitching worms and working them slowly though.
