    There are no duties, but you have to pay GST & PST upon delivery, plus $5 for brokerage fees. So far this year I've bought four reels from that site mentioned above, and every transaction has been smooth sailing. Total price for a Curado including S&H, taxes, and brokerage fees: $193. Hard to beat this price anywhere in Canada.

    Canada Post has been tagging me with a brokerage charge of $5 for everything shipped from the US via USPS. Started when I moved to North York from Etobicoke; it hadn't happened before. Still, five bucks is tolerable compared to some of the nightmare stories I heard about UPS.

    It'll take ages before BPS adjusts its pricing, and by then the loonie would probably not be where it is. Forget the waiting game; go on-line and save now. ReelFishingDeals I've bought four reels so far from this site. Prices are unbeatable, and delivery has been prompt and without a glitch. Some price comparisons: Curado 200 series: $165 vs. $259 Curado 300 series: $210 vs. $320 Chronarch: $235 vs. $399 Come to think of it, do others have reputable on-line stores that they can share?
