Expensive mistake. Hope the pilot and any passengers got out O.K. Please don't be in the news for the wrong reasons. Even ponds have only a few inches of ice, if any at all. I passed by about a dozen ponds today. I don't think even one had been completely frozen over, or if it was, didn't stay that way for long. Always an open spot somewhere. It's just too warm during the day. Runoff erodes the edges quickly.

Awesome !!! That's why I prefer the pool at the local community center. Never know when one of those with teeth and an appetite may want to nip you for a taste. Watch Jaws right before going on a beach vacation. That will keep you in the resort pool for sure. Nurse and Whale Sharks are pretty timid. Don't think they have teeth either.

Sometimes we're in a hurry and have no choice. I have a CT very close to home, so I know there are mechanics available 7 days a week and just a stone's throw away. Hope it's nothing major CH. Let us know what happens.

I'm sure there will be a few people out there even if the weather is bad. Lew will probably be one of them. Can't see him giving up fishing for a poker game. Sounds like a neat idea though.

Good moves CCM. I get wrong #'s sometimes because my # is similar to a business line. Usually, the people are pretty decent once they realize they've dialed the wrong #. I'm quickly running out of patience with telemarketers though. Seems like every day we get a call for something. Window and door people at least once a week. For a while, the same company was calling using different people on the phone. How long can I be polite before I blow a fuse ?

IDIOTS !!! Good post Zack. If you know for sure they have over their limits of fish, report them. How many fish do they already have at home in the freezer ? If the same people are spotted frequently, even if they only have their daily limit each time, it should send up red flags. Jot down license plate #s. Take pictures. If you have time, stroll out there and casually ask how the fishing has been. You'd be surprised at how many people will brag about "slaughtering 'em" one day and getting back out there the next day for more. Ask the municipality to put up "No Littering" signs and have garbage cans available. All they can do is say yes, no, we're monitoring the situation. At least you've made them aware of the problem.
