  1. I run Shell gas in all small engines. All Shell gas has nitrous no ethanol from regular to 98. Then I treat with sea foam because it has no self life.
  2. Bellville Sport and Lawn have been OMC dealer forever. Emerald Ise Marine OMC for ever.
  3. I think you just need to change your launch system. Undo front and back straps get a capable boat driver and back in until it floats. Load is a little trickery. Back trailer into water until axle cover is almost covered. Have capable boat driver load boat until it touch front. Now leave boat motor in gear and running. The vehicle driver just pulls forward small amount the boat will pop up just a little now shut off boat motor and pull boat out. Will not work for roller trailer.
  4. There's a market for rigging boats. I heard Grant was scaling back. You better expect to quit fishing. Most bassboat guys running 5 battery setups. You don't buy the battery's from Costco.
  5. I'm on Market Place Face Book and see these types of tackleboxes with contents for sale. Mostly low hundreds.
  6. Everything posted is possible. Todays fishfinder/gps/down image/side image/satellite are just sensitive little dudes. We want more and more out such a little package. And I believe Birds are the most sensitive. Also the size of your motor and the draw it takes to turn over. A good battery setup for blown 21ft bassboat is 6k just for the batterys.
  7. Most fish finder problems are poor install. So lets start with should hard wired to starting battery. Yes you will need to shut units off. Main power won't shut units off. You should have 6 gauge wire from starting battery to a good stainless steel block under your dash. The best way is to soldier ends on 6 gauge , you can compression crib. Now you run all your finders off this panel. Don't use the super skinny wire, CTC has a bulk spool comes in 2-3 sizes get the thickness. No I'm not going out in garages this morning before daylight. Get 2 different colours. Keep in line fuse. Do Not run threw your boat fuse block Do Not take exacter 3 meters of wire and wad up in ball. Clean those battery contacts. Most fishfinders are 1 to 5k so spend $200 on good install.
  8. I agree these charges are the most chicken ASS they could lay. And the funny thing is million dollar lawyers will hired.
  9. I run Shell gas only in boats ,lawn mowers ect. Anything that might sit for a bit. And seafoam every other tank.
  10. Makes a huge difference what type lake you are fishing.
  11. Spray bottle with dish soap and water to test for pin holes.
  12. You need to put your polaroid's on and look in the water and make mental notes. Where did that weed start where did disappear could you still feel weed down. Exactly where that rock out cropping is. And most important where you got a bite. So the next time you go back your route to success is shorter.
  13. If you hit water the chances are good. Your problem is wood isn't structure wood is object.
  14. Nighttime boating is always risky. I believe the lakes with the filthy rich to be the worst. Muskoka, Lake Joe, Lake of bays hardly a hour goes by you see people doing stupid. I was casting first main point on Lake of Bays this lady 35 ish 4 kids all standing ran there wack boat between my boat and the point. I was 40 ft from shore. If I had my trout stick could have clothlined her.
  15. You see some stuff on the water. Was in south pidgeon fishing some junk and a runabout music blaring is heading kinda close. I moved a bit and on they went. Around the next corner they hit one of the tourney competitors. Another time was running up to Elephant lake from Baptiste. It was shotgun start I had this runabout in front ran the route threw the stumps and didn't even try straight up on the Island. I was to afraid to stop half the field was behind use. When I went back the boat was gone. Most of my close calls where with seadoos.
  16. And we go to boat school to know freighters have right of way. I've been on most of these water body's and they are all crazy. The thing that confuse me is Quinte when everywhere you look is a swan that Trenton area is crazy.
  17. Salmon are going on the piers. Check Port Credit and Bronte.
  18. Never buy plugs from a marina they buy plugs from nappa/carquest and so should you. Never buy plugs on line. Go to Nappa/CARQUEST. I do agree buy the correct plug.
  19. NGK spark plugs are NGK spark plugs if you buy at nappa/CARQUEST ect. And fakes are available on line. Just don't buy from boat dealer. They go to the local nappa and just double trible price for you.
  20. In the OV Pro Bass days a couple brought there lawn chairs to Orillia to see 150 boats launch. They where disappointed .
  21. With well over a million Km of trailering boats I've had every problem you can think of in every location. I changed a hub on a interstate in Chicago. Because I had the right parts to do the job and the boat was 4 months old. John you are over your head take this to a pro have them look at your stuff. If your axles are good move to your hubs ect. get this fixed right.
  22. Yes John you need to buy the right hub with the right bearings in it. Sounds like you have smoked theses hubs a couple times so hubs most likely garbage. And as stated bearing need to seat easily . Your axle's are much tougher material but still need inspection.
  23. Car Quest can get you any bearings. If you had the original bearings any number can be cross reference and then the rest is standard. In your situation I would go to a bearing place with your measurements. Ours is called Oshawa Bearing. Another option would be just buy the whole hub complete with bearings.
  24. The live release boat has 1 or maybe 2 people working on it. There limit would be 6 bass each or in an walleye tournament 4 each. So the permit allows them to posses all the fish for live release purposes. That maybe 100's of fish. I will not comment on what happen this time except it's fixable.
