  7. Good stuff, I would have thought it would have been too slushy out there, how thick is the ice? Maureen
  8. Yup Rizzo, jsut adjust the height of the skids, should be pretty simple...I leave mine about an inch and a half off the ground, but then I have a gravel driveway. Once you get a solid base you can lower the skids back down if you wish.... Maureen
  9. mmmmm...spaghetti sandwiches...haven't had one in years....stick with cast iron, it's the best and will last you forever... Maureen
  10. No such thing as too much. I prefer Crankbaits, Jerkbaits, tubes and other plastics, and I don't have near enough of any of them Maureen
  11. And Dave, thank you and your bro in law Maureen
  12. I didn't know they made hockey sticks out of material other than wood , how dod you shape the blade???? Maureen
  13. It's good to see they caught him, and fined him, but how effective is that? He still hasn't paid an earlier fine, nothing to stop him from buying more equipment and continuing to fish....guys like this just don't care and have no regard for our resources, if anything it should be pay the fine or spend a couple of days in jail... Maureen
  14. Thanks Beans, at least I won't have to drill a hole then if I don't want to fish heck might not have to if I do want to fish I just have to watch where I step Maureen
  15. That's great news Jack!!! Maureen
  16. For the first time in my life I've been told I need to speak louder My mother has always told me, along with a couple of other people to lower my volume, and now I've been told I'm not loud enough at the Fishing for Tyler...I can't win If anyone has a megaphone or microphone I could borrow for the day I wold really appreciate it...if not any ideas if I can rent one? Thanks Maureen
  17. Hey all, was thinking of going down to Innisfil and check things out....not sure if I'll do much fishing if any. Does anyone care to join me for a bit? I'm not a big fan of the ice and even less so when I'm alone. Maureen

  19. Can't help you with the area you're heading to, but the weather through Toronto should be ok until tomorrow night. If you turn your radio dial to 680am you will get weather and traffic reports. You might want to take a look at this link for weather forcasts Here Sorry I can't be of more help.... Maureen
  20. Wayne I can tell you from personal experience...very few people know how to drive in this stuff in Toronto. I saw on the news that lots of people were spinning their wheels on the DVP trying to go uphill. Should be fun at work today, none of the buses have Snow Tires Maureen
  21. Thanks Cliff, that last one is great! I'll likely forward it to a reporter at the Barrie Examiner if it's ok with you...maybe shoot me a PM with your full name and permission to use it so I can make sure you get credit for it if he uses it, Maureen
  22. Way to go Roger, I sure hope you have good quality hats but as you know it's only hair and it will grow back. Maureen
  23. Unfortunately Home inspectors are not a regulated industry and anyone can pretty much hang up a shingle and call themselves one. The better and more reputable ones are trying to change that and make certain qualifications mandatory. If you look at the bottom of your agreement I'm sure you'll find something to the effect that they are not accountable and there is no gaurantee or warrenty to the inspection and you like had only 10 business days to dispute or complain about the inpection. Maureen
  24. Hey all, does anyone have any group photos from last years Fishing forTyler? I went through my folder and it seems I didn't have a chance to take that many pictures, don't know why and the ones I did take or have copies of are not groups just individual shots for the most part. Thanks Maureen
  25. Hey Reefrunner, I'm sorry you won't be able to make the event. As for still contributing there are a couple of things you can do if you wish. The early bird auction is almost at an end, but we will have the main auction up and running after the G2G for a week, you're free to bid on any and all items If that doesn't work for you you may send me a donation of your choice to Maureen Manning, 167 Timcourt Dr. Penetang Ont. L9M 1R2 with cheques made out to Tyler's parents, Elisa and Terry French. Thanks to all for your support, Maureen
