  1. Try to keep holes in your boat to a minimum.
  2. We aint going to wait that long.
  3. Let me know when you have it built and we will go fishing.
  4. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.
  5. If it was the lower end there should be water in the oil that is still in the lower end. Drain the bottom end oil into a clear container. If it looks like the same as new oil you are ok. That is the best way to check the seals and the condition of the lower end. If it is not the lower end then it could be just exhaust. Were you running the motor at low rpm?
  6. I had a tank the same as that one. There is no vent screw on the top so just turn the gas cap back 1/4 turn. This will let the air in the top of the tank.
  7. Did you get it running? If not try this. Put motor in neural put throttle all the way forward open vent on top of gas cap prime bulb until hard turn key motor starts catch big fish post on OFC
  8. I am ready to go. I hope they are bitting.
  9. I am not sure about your motor. It depends on the year. Most motors newer then 1970 take 50/1. The real old motors take 20/1 to40/1. You might need to go to a boating forum.

It is amazing how much force is put on a bow pedestal seat.
  11. I hope they will hit topwater.
  12. I dont have any custom fillet knives. But i got some of these.
  13. I am not too sure about the water to gas thing. The pill that you put in your gas tank must work though. Good luck.
  14. Nice truck. It must be nice to be a man again.
  15. Thanks for the report and nice pics too.
  16. First thing i would do is try to figure out why this happened. What stressed the hull and is there any other problems. Then i would fix it myself. We are right in the middle of fishing season and your boat is going to be in the shop. NO WAY. Can you see the rivets while your fishing? If not keep fishing.
  17. That rebar looks deadly. As for the williams maybe take the hooks off. Someone was saying to work the williams right on bottom without the hard jigging action. Like you do for a meegs. Thanks for the report.
  18. Beauty report. Thanks.
  19. I put a new fuel hose on my old motor and she ran good after that. After 20 or 30 years its good to get a new hose.
  20. Thats the one i like too.
  21. Can you get the CRV in front wheel drive? It would have better mileage then the all wheel drive. I think they only tow 1000lbs max. towing with a 4cly might not work out too well.
  22. Thanks for the report. "1625 Classic" That is a nice boat.
  23. If you are just taking the skeg off then you shouldnt have to undo the shifter linkage. Are all bolts on the skeg out??
  24. I am not sure about that motor but. Does it have a small cover plate above the cavitation plate? On some motors you have to open this cover plate and undo the shifter linkage.
