Thanks for the report on LOTW. I see so much about it in magazines. I sure would like to fish it but it is too far away. I didnt know there were Pelicans on LOTW.

cram the only way you will stop people from fishing around your dock is to remove it. I am sick of all the docks on the lakes anyway. There should be a law against docks.

Thanks for the info Bigchev and rayfish. I see that the fishing is good at the north channel on the top of GB. But that is a six hour drive for me. I am still undecided.

I would like to try fishing for the rainbow that are around the pens on Georgian Bay. But i dont know of a good place to try. Does anyone know of a place that i can try? The closer to Parrysound the better. Thankyou for any help.

The mnr has a record white in the guide to eating sport fish. So they must keep a record or at least they did keep one. The hard part is getting an official weight.

Congrats on a real trophy.

You may just see lines that are the fish. The arches are when you move over fish or the fish move though the transducer cone. When the distance from the fish moves closer to the transducer then farther away you then get an arch. If you are moving forward and the transducer is at the back of the boat in 30ft or less you may not be marking fish because the boat is spooking them. A stick in the water will make an arch if you travel over it. So dont worry about seeing an arch.

20mph top speed is about right for that (boat 400lbs or so) plus people. I aint sure what is wrong with it. But if the fuel line is old and the rubber is hard i would buy a new one.

What did you have in the boat for a load?? How many people?? That boat should be ok with 2 guys, 3 guys maybe. Trim the motor down then get up on plane. Trim up slowly to find where top speed is. There will be a sweet spot you just have to find it. Then you can start to throttle back. I just leave mine in one spot. It costs me 1mph on the top end and it dont plane real fast but it is easier.
